Sky Sports news reported that it was offside at the time of the goal, replays on MotD proved otherwise. Liverpool were good for the win it seems.

It was a much better game than last. Basically pinning Bolton back for huge parts of the game. A few defending calamities aside it was a good performance against a good Bolton side. We were good for the result.Comment

I think they'll be worse than at Anfield, big Sam has the staff to bring through the tactics he was using but the new manager is seemingly trying to put square pegs in a round hole. Sounds a lot like Hodgson's predicament. Of course, both are going the opposite way with Liverpool becoming the long ball hoofers and Blackburn trying to play football.
That team looks ok, interesting he has rested Kuyt for an away game. Usually the defensive ability he has can really help, unless it means Johnson will be restricted to his own half again.
As for the Bolton game, the team looked a lot sharper in their passing and moving. Which is no shock to me considering Maxi was put back into the team. The amount of flowing moves that begin with Maxi/Torres/Lucas/Merieles is very heartening when they play together. If you remove Maxi and put Meireles out wide ala Wolves you end up with a mess. Gerrard begins his usual heroics as early as 5 minutes in and the game descends to punting the ball long from defence for it to come straight back or Gerrard pinging 40 yard passes to nowhere.
I'm also happy N'Gog gets to carry on his stint for the team, his hard work is a breath of fresh air up top and when he has the support he can be good at holding the ball up and bringing others in to play, when he looks up.Comment

Yes Agger has been out for a while, but he is clearly the best defender Liverpool possess. Give him the matches to improve his fitness. Against a team like Blackburn the pace isn't exactly enough to give him hassle.Comment
