Nervous about this weekend...will be a tough game...

Can see the writeups already-'This result shows how much work needs to be done at Liverpool' or 'Torres blah blah blah'.
Are you forgetting you have Carra and Skrtel? Whichever one plays will do Torres.

I'd be happy for a tedious 0-0 actually. I too can see the headlines by dumbass pundits and tabloid writers. If Chelscum win "Torres smash and grab as blues do double over pool" or if it's a 0-0 "Pool and Blues blow blanks for bucks"
If we win, "Suarez up urz". If Carra mullers Torres "Carra chops Spanish tomato Torres".

      Any better suggestions?

        "Magnificent Chelsea slaughter woeful Liverpool"

Not that I condone such behaviour.

If they can get near him. We aren't blessed with pace at the back.

I've got to a point now where I don't care. His departure doesn't register now.
The more our fans show how hurt they are on Sunday, the more fired up he will be to make them hurt more. I hope he's completely ignored. All the hype for this game is off the back of that transfer.

Personally, if I was a Liverpool player on SUnday, I'd be using the duplicitous ones departure as a lack of respect and use that as Sunday's motivation. Show those plastic flag waving cockney spanners and those that are cheered on by them, exactly what we're about. Oh, and I hope someone sparks Terry.

I just cannot understand why he has behave in the way he has. He really insulted the fans with his leaving comments. Even myself, clearly not a Liverpool fan can't help to lose a little respect for him.

Liverpool fans were burning shirts and rewriting history to belittle his contributions before he made any public statement at all.

He's had chances to go before and he's given them a chance but he clearly wants champions league football and realistically he'd be 18 months away from that at Liverpool minimum.

If Chelsea still have aspirations to win the league, there is no reason we can't have them to finish in the top 4. He was part of a 'Team' he could have done his best to help not hinder.
If he had left in the summer fine but not like this.
Although I sound bitter I'm over it now, I will miss him but that's life.

If anything, I now feel more aggrieved at the outrageous ticket prices for the match. ?55!

Feel the love for London ticket prices! Spurs fans were charged £49 for our match away to Fulham earlier this year. I think that is slightly worse on a "glamour of the match to price" ratio

                              That's outrageous.

Fingers crossed I've managed to snag two tickets for the Kop against Wigan next week, can't wait.

All this Torres hype is a bit much isn't it?

I really hope its a good game but it wouldn't surprise me if its a scrappy affair leading to either a one goal victory or draw.

A Liverpool victory would be brilliant, but I dont see it coming unfortunately.
