As been said, every goal counts. Our attackers are hungry and in big competition with other, proving themselves to the team, manager and fans.

Jebus wept, Rafa needs to constantly use our best performing players (if available), especially for games like that against Pompey. No Kuyt, 30 minutes subs Torres and Gerrard.

and yossi should not be playing at all, his passing today was shocking.
the tactics were poor though, Reina gets the ball boots it up the pitch hope a red shirt gets it if not sit back let pompy have a try and repeat.
was painful watching that today.

Yep fustrating game from reading the info on BBC website, should have nailed three points today looks like Arsenal have turned around the game at Spurs as well.

Wow, we nearly got bummed there tonight . Did well to keep the draw in the end.

Some very unimpressive performances.
Carragher and Arbeloa were the only defenders to not make glaring errors.
Gerrard hardly in it, Mascherano losing the ball too readily. Babel failing to beat his man but kept trying. pennant getting sent off, Torres doing nothing and Kuyt not even linking up well.
AND we still got a draw! I don't actually think we could play much worse (though I am sure we will find a way ) but we still only conceded from a pen and gave them one real chance at the very beginning. Its a tight ship but I think we missed Alonso tonight.

Gerrard looked fatigued and unfit. Should not have played for England.

Still, the toughest game on paper is out of the way now and we still got a point regardless of the flat performace. Can't really complain.

The performance was poor but, as you said, the point is in the bag. We are top (!) [0-0 in other game] after the hardest game on paper.
I think Alonso could have released the two wide men effectively. Masch tried to get Pennant away a few times but failed.
Not sure Riise would have given us much more (than presumably Babel) but he does have a threat and he has the experience.
