We are CACK! We just can't score goals. Short trying to do things on the cheap.

Be nice if we could just keep a manager for a bit. Still can't get over them letting Pulis go.

Warnock is in a line of managers that are dinosaurs of the game and should never be involved in football again. How do these gits get work?

They are employed by Chairmen whose first (and main) priority is PL survival, and all these old gits like Warnock and Pullis etc have plenty of experience of that.

Wonder who will get the West Brom job.

On a side note, great to see Liverpool and a number of their players playing so well last night.

Warnock has relegation experience. Plenty of that.

100% relegation success rate in his two full top flight seasons with Notts County and Sheffield United. Cruelly denied the chance to keep the run going with QPR and Crystal Palace by being sacked half way through the season. Barely three years in the top flight in his whole career, but I think he's such a loud mouth that he gives the impression it's been a lot more than that.

Pulis the current favourites for the West Brom job (no surprise there) but, quite strangely, Fabricio Coloccini is the current bookies favourite for the Newcastle job.

Tim Sherwood was mentioned as one of the favourites for the West Brom job on the radio this morning too.

According to Sherwood was on the verge of becoming West Brom manager in the summer, but the deal fell through and they went for Irvine. I'd like to see him get a job just to see how well he'd do! You'd think most chairmen would bet on Pulis though, after his stint with Palace last season.

Haha, slight mistake with the name on NBC's subititles.

No wonder he looks so calm and relaxed when he's on the ball.

A transfer or two starting to trickle though in this window now. Wilfried Bony has signed for Manchester City and there are lost of reports that Jermain Defoe is very close to signing for Sunderland. Funnily enough, if the deal gets done quickly enough, his first match could be against Spurs at White Hart Lane this weekend.

Edit: Or not. The Ivory Coast FA announced that the Bony deal had gone through, and now both Man City and Swansea have said that the deal has not yet been finalised.

Hmm... maybe trickle is pushing it!

Good to see some activity before the final three hours of the transfer window whatever.
Such a shame we didn't choose Bony over Balotelli last summer.

Stick can't believe Man U appear to be willing to pay something like ?70M to bring back Pogba after letting him go for free less than three years ago - and all because of Fergie really. More money than sense etc.

Defoe to Sunderland is official. Fair to say his record is a tad better than Altidore, who has gone in the other direction and moved to Toronto:

Not sure if he can start against Spurs tomorrow. He's scored on every single debut he's made for a professional club, so, I'll be hoping he didn't get his clearance in time!
