?14M and ?80k a week seems a hell of a lot of money for him (at his age), but as someone at work said if he keeps them up for a couple of seasons it's money well spent.

I think the fee and wages have been mixed up in quite a few reports. It's his wages of ?80k per week over the whole three and a half years of his contract that come ?14.5 million, but I think the actual transfer fee is only ?3 million.
He's bound to score against us tomorrow. Better put some money on it, won't mind if I lose it, and some compensation if he does score!

Harry Redknapp resigns from managerial position at QPR
I'm betting his knee started hurting a lot more once they didn't sign anyone in January
With Ramsey and Ferdinand in caretaker charge I expect Sherwood to be installed as the bookies favourite to take over.Last edited by EJG1980; 03-02-2015, 13:46.

All Villa are worried about is staying up in honesty so they'll just someone in who can do that.
Scoring 12 PL goals from 25 games is a record not to be proud of, and frankly awful reflection on their so called strike force.
20 goals scored in a season is the lowest ever if anyone is interested, back when Derby had that terrible year.
illa could still beat that record.

How about Mark Warburton from Brentford? Doing an excellent job there but there was a story in the past few days that the Brentford board were scouting replacements for him EVEN if they go up and he gets them back to back promotions
So if he feels he hasn't got the proper backing of the board he might be tempted to swap a promotion battle for a relegation battle. He'd also be fairly cheap, I expect, which would appeal to Randy Lerner. Hmm, 33/1, might put a fiver on that.

QPR have sorted out their new manager: Chris Ramsey will stay in charge until the end of the season.

And Villa have gone for Tim Sherwood.Last edited by EJG1980; 14-02-2015, 15:23.
