rllmuk are saying that it also includes retro games.
What are they doing? Becoming a more mainstream game store like Game?
Now there wont be any highstreet retro stores!

It's all about being online these days. They're part (or I should say were) of a dying breed - though considering a number of their price hikes, apart from buying something in the flesh, I could never understand much of the modern appeal of purchasing there.

my local gamestation (the one Kaladron's in charge of iirc) has stacks of retro kit... i just lack the cash to purchase it all

Was pretty disappointed at how tatty the import games were in the Leeds store tbh... decided to save my money, and buy the same games new and sealed at VG+ for cheaper =/

I'm the Assistant Manager but that Retro Section is my baby. It's not looking too good now that Mega Drive is B.O.G.O.F as all the best titles have been snapped up. We've got some awesome import SNES games though.

When Nintendo raised a kerfuffle about CEX selling their imported goods and CEX stopped selling them for me was when the store went downhill bigtime, used to be the case you could go there and pick up a bargain or two, or grab the latest title at albeit ridiculously high price, now apart from the odd hardware item for my PC ive no reason to go there at all myself. Ill pop into the Watford branch today to see if any of the overpriced DC Jap stuff is going cheap though.

yep i was too and if it need to get something i want now than wait i'll get it from city cyber if they have it and pay more for it.

city cyber is the only shop left to sell imports in leeds
