I gave up on Supply Lines last night.

It took me 3 goes to do supply lines, I think it has something to do with getting them in the right order (nearest first).

Has anyone else noticed a helicopter in the cop shop in NE san fierro. It's in the basement with all the cars? I think it is a glitch, i've tried everything to get it out, no luck though

That must be the helicopter that is meant to be on the helipad above the carpark. I always wondered why it was never there.

Supply lines requires a good level of flight skill (the stat, that is) ... or an unhealthy dose of free time.

Getting no parachute advise here - probably because I'm on every bodies ignore list - CJ trekked back up Mount Chiliad. After collecting the parachute and taking in the amazing view CJ was ready once again for his lemming impression. Running at full pelt CJ launched myself off the edge and I pressed every button I could.

Splat!

OK, try again.

I was beginning to think that the chute was for use in a mission only and that my efforts were going to be in vain when I remembered the Mountain Bike up on the summit. After another long climb CJ got equipped, jumped on the bike and took off towards the edge, this time - due to poor handling - towards the ramp I had failed to notice. A quick bunny hop and CJ was flying out high above the trees. Free from his ghetto life, free from police harassment, free from the demands of his annoying woman - not free from gravity though.

Bailing from the bike CJ was now in freefall. I hit the X button and THUMMMM the parachute was open! Success at last!!! Then for some completely unknown reason I hit the triangle button releasing the chute and dropping CJ to his death. Oh **** indeed.

In some attempt to catch up with the flow I was still up at 03:45 this morning, not good when I needed to be at my desk for 08:30.

Finally progressed to the Badlands.

I decided to complete this before even looking at Halo 2, this game deserves to be explored to the max.

Class quote from CJ the other day when I accidently hit triangle in a leer jet with no parachute.

Plumetting to his death at high speed, arms and legs flailing wildly, CJ remarked "I could do without this ****"

I have hitman status with AK 47 and SMG...how do I double-wield?

It does it automatically. I don't think you can duel wield the AK's though.

I feel like a hero for completing supply lines without any flight skills stats at all. *smug*

Did take me about 16 tries though.

Parachute controls:
When you jump out of the plane you can either press down in order to point yourself downwards and gain speed in your descent or press up to level yourself out to slow down a bit. You can rotate using left and right though Im not sure what this does.

Press 'O' to open up your parachute, leaving it as it is will get you to the ground more quickly but you can press up to slow yourself down to aim your landing better. Pressing triangle will cancel the parachute.

Would you lot stop going on about flying planes!!! I have to get my thrills by cycling off a cliff. CJ wants jet fight. CJ not happy!

Thanks to winky I got my hands on the Helicopter last night. Decided to see how much of the locked 3rd Island I could see before getting wasted. Picked up the parachute and headed off flying past those wicked bridges, got over the desert before being shot down by a fighter plane (my lady yelling about some red thing coming towards me kind of put me off ). Managed to bail out and parachute towards what looked like an army base. Death soon followed

Basically I'm all about going on my own missions now. Can anybody tell me where on the 3rd Island I can get my hands on a jet fighter? I want some payback!!
