I've got the painting but I can't see it until I've got a house to display it in (not even a menu). Okay, I've currently got 10,000 gold. What's the cheapest house I can buy without making myself bankrupt? Anyone?
There's one in the Imperial City Waterfront for around 2000 iirc - check the market district.

Cheers. Hadn't thought one would be sale around there. Time to go house steal... I mean item shopping then!

You can view the painting by just dropping it anywhere - its got an easel so it stands up in front of you.

Probably gonna do it last now
It is possible to do this without actually killing standard townspeople.

Go to the arena in imperial city, and talk to the grand champion (gray prince). He will ask you to do a task for him, which involves retrieving a journal for him. Do this quest (bring the journal and give it to him), and then progress from rank to rank in the arena until you face the grand champion. He won't actually fight back, and you can just kill him in cold blood. It's a bit long winded, but most people will wanna do the arena achievements anyway, so kill 2 birds with one stone.

If you think it looks lush now, wait 'til you get outside. Try to time it for dawn in game time

I wish the 360 had a print screen option, or the ability to save pictures in games and then carry them over to the PC via USB. It's not the same with a digital camera.

And... oh! The game's just informed me that Chanel has my painting ready at Castle Chorrol.
0_0 wow nice about the portrait, i guess on my game i will not see that because of one of my choices on a certain quest hehe. *cries*

Regarding screens, the solution i use is connecting sometimes the 360 to the PC since the motherboard i have has an RCA output (or something along those lines). Here's another random ones.

Seeing that picture of Prior Maborel's horse reminds me of one of my many Oblivion moments.

I was riding the road to Anvil at night when I got attacked by a troll. Rather than try and out run it I decided to be brave, dismount and give it a pasting - only for the ugly little bugger to attack the horse instead.

The horse must have taken a beating and decided to leg it with the troll in hot pursuit. Cue me trying to catch up but not being quick enough and getting left behind, as the two of them dissapear into the wilderness.

Standing there with nothing but the chirping crickets, the moon and my trust sword for company I spent about 30 seconds giggling to myself and wondering what to do now. As I decide to finish my journey on foot and make off along the path again I hear a commotion. I turn around to see the horse bolting down the side of a hill with the troll still screaming after it.

The horse flew right past me, followed by the troll who was so determined to have horse for supper that he paid no attention to me. I was so busy laughing I couldn't give chase.

I've never seen the horse since. He might have ended up troll food or for all I know could be wandering aimlessly around the wilderness of Cyrodil

Behind the womans drawers, in the tower and on the carpet in the dining room - the last one is the hardest to see

I actually ruined this quest by dobbing the person in, regretted from the moment I said it It was the right thing to do...but I felt so harsh.

Anyone help with this mage quest thingy I'm doing atm

Darail's father's body in a fort east of leyawin. Found the fort but halfway through there are 2 locked doors and none of the dead bodies are carrying a key. I went back to talk to Darail, but she's bonkers and tells me nothing new

Also where can I get or buy...

Elven, glass or such armour as my dark elf character should really be using light armour, and I need more room in my bags, and I assume it's better than leather
