    that's the one

I find it a lot easier on stick as theres a lot of double tapping and holding etc - nice room to spread your hand out for the more complicated / fast paced combos too .. Fighters should always be played on a stick I always say but i'm sure some will disagree. I just prefer the authentic arcade type experience - that and I think the 360 D-Pad is wank.

If i could employ random people to stand behind me waiting to play i'd do that too ..

      Nice, thanks Reektan.

I received this on Friday, played a bit during the weekend. I like it, i played VF4 Evo a bit too, and much like that one, i already clicked with Brad Burns.

I can't do anything too fancy yet, but i already learned a thing or two with the Command Training.

Shame tough that it doesn't mark the moves you already done in the Command Training, or am I missing something?

And what does the "?" mark means, apart from that indicates the moves you can watch a demo for?

I think that's all it is- it indicates you can see a demo of the move performed, for some of the harder moves.

Stick is £40 on www.gamestation.co.uk . It's better than a pad though not great still.

Does anyone know what the secret achievements are in VF5? As I can't find any information on what they are using search egines.

If I had to hazard a guess at the final achievement I would say defeat all players in all arcades.

                Ah, thanks for that!

Just bought this yesterday, it rocks.

I used to play on my saturn back in the day and was an ok player. Then got 3tb for my DC but did not like the change of controls and so did not play that much. Dabbled w/ VF4 on my gfs PS2 and loved it, and now I am basically just trying to memorize as many techniques and moves as possible.

So I'm playing dojo quite a bit, and started Quest.
The easy arcade in Quest is stupidly easy, but I guess it is for peeps such as myself getting back into it so you can try different stuff.

                  So anyway my question-
If I play this everyday, practice everyday, will I eventually become and intermediate/ ok level player?

                  Cheers

edit- also, where can I buy the arcade stick on it's own?

I'd have thought if you played every day you'd become a grand-master

                    Stick = Amazon.

The final achievement is in fact finish Quest with 100% win ratio.

You can change the difficulty setting on Quest. On the harder settings the AI is supposedly very good on the 360 version. I'd like to know how it compares with VF:Evo's AI. If it's as good as that or better it should help you learn the basics quite well.

It aint as good as Evo AI. The standard difficulty on 360 one for some reason is easier than on PS3 for Quest (you can get away with punch and kick cheap hits till around 7th-10th dan) its only when you put the difficulty right up that their better than PS3 Ver B.

You're kidding me? The gamefaqs bunch are claiming it's finish quest with 100% completion (all items, emblems, rivals etc), which makes more sense.

Still, not having any achievements which recognize online play is a farce. Quest mode is fun for a while, but to do everything is gonna take forever. The achievements aren't rewarding skill at all, but mind-numbing amounts of patience. Very poor show AM2.
