I like not having online achievments. As predicted the online is a lottery whether you will have lag or not. Virtua fighter for me has always been about the single player and playing with others in the same room. In fact I'd go so far as to say that I think most games shouldn't have online achievments, as people concentrate on getting them instead of just playing the game properly.

Still, not having any achievements which recognize online play is a farce. Quest mode is fun for a while, but to do everything is gonna take forever. The achievements aren't rewarding skill at all, but mind-numbing amounts of patience. Very poor show AM2.
Thing is I wouldn't mind so much if you were not forced to do all this with the same character, but doing it all with the same character gets very boring.
I gave up with Quest mode and just went through Arcade with every character.
As for online achievements I do think they should have had some because its seriously way harder than the offline mode.

Ok question. I'm loving the game, but one thing thats confusing me.
I'm buying clothes with the money I get from winning tournaments, but when I go to edit my character they're not showing up. I have the first 3 costumes of the character I'm playing as and don't know why when I go into any of the 3 of them, I can't select (or even see) the clothes I have purchased.

The Xbox Live game lobby in this game is a ******* Joke, can't change your character or the level when playing against a friend without quiting and sending a new invite. Admittedly most are likely to keep using the same character since it takes ages to learn 1 character but damn can I have a change of scenery please? - This is what they should have attended to first instead of releasing bloody items at 300 points..
Plus the item shop is complete bull**** - you can't see what items looks like on your character without wasting your G and traversing through the whack menus unlike Tekken DR Online which incidentally (going back to the first point) also has a very decent lobby system.
Finally is just me or does DOA4 look much better graphically, anyway with all these complaints I still like the VF fighting system hence still own the game but I ain't buying any content until they sort this **** out.
