I've heard Seabass say it'll all be right next year, think I'll start a PES 2011 thread in anticipation !

I really feel bad about going FIFA, its like changing your real team, don't have such loyalty feelings to any other game at all.

I felt the same after ditching 08. Its sad to see the last of Castolo and Huylens.

I really mean it, keep re-trying the PES demo incase I've missed something that means I prefer it to FIFA.

Any other game I wouldn't care less, don't feel any such loyalty to any other series at all but PES has been special, its the first game I played with my son and has been my go to game for years when stuck for 30m of entertainment.

Just feels wrong not buying it.

I had that same kind of dirty feeling when I chose FIFA 08 over PES 08. I played hundreds of matches online on PES 6 (360) but when the 08 games came along PES just felt blown away by FIFA.

After played the PES 10 demo I can say I definitely won't be going back to it over FIFA.

The player movement in PES is so horribly jerky and unnatural after player FIFA 10 I find it impossible to play. Players don't turn and move in a fluid manor they just move like ASIMO robots.

The game feels undynamic and predictable because of the player movement and ball physics which are in no way like a real football. Sorry but when footballers dribble a ball there is no way the ball stays on tram lines like it does in PES.

The other major complaint I have is that bloody sound effect that is used whenever the ball is kicked. I want to know who at Konami thought that was a good/tolerable sound effect, and then I'd like to make sure they actually have ears.

It feels like Konami are still just trying to bolt bits onto old PS2 based technology. Where as what they really need is a completely new start like EA gave to FIFA, without this Konami are just going to keep churning out the same game year after year.

They need to just sort out the animations and the response times for 2010 (obviously online too). That'd do me.

Don't understand how they keep getting it wrong lately after their PS2 outings were getting better every year. I mean, they could of just used the exact PS2 game and HD'd it and that would of sufficed.

Well its been pretty gentlemanly and fair play lads for keeping it clean but the more i play both demos the worse PES gets for me.
Fifa is just magic. Its so free to control and open to play. The off the ball movement is exceptional. I feel like i can play it like i used to play PES on the PS2 albeit with a few differences, improvements in fact.

Like you Merf it saddens me to say but EA simply have made the better football game and its the 1 I will be shelling out on this year.
I really cant see the point in defending Konami and PES, for me it just seems like people unwilling to accept defeat. If poeple want the inferior title then good for them.

Sorry, I'm just not at a point where I feel I should start admitting that FIFA is the best. I like both games for different reasons at the moment. We'll see after the release of PES2010 which game I'll be spending more time with.

I disagree PES2010 is inferior in some aspects but in certain aspects it steam rollers Fifa10 e.g. likeness Barcelona`s Puyol in Fifa10 looks like an ogre, PES2010 he looks like Puyol. This I can say about many players in Fifa10. Surely you can appreciate the individual small touches in PES2010 that Fifa 10 does not have. I admit the animations in Fifa10 are wonderful and it feels free, but beating a man is so much better, easier and more satisfying in PES2010 than Fifa10 imo. I think they both have good and bad points.

Try the R2 button for much better control, just running with the ball won't work like in 2009. Same goes for the through pass, this time it really is a through pass and you should use it like this. Normally you can use the through pass like a semi A pass, it has much better control in 2010.

Also, remember the 2009 demo and how it sucked compared to the final game?
