Yeah, funny clips. Can you imagine watching Downfall for two and a half (3 ?) hours with these subs all the way through ! Actually, it amazes me with haven't had a star wars one !?

Well I ended up getting this mainly for the online but as luck would have the online side of things doesn't seem to be fully functioning yet as I get a "version is incompatible" message. I guess I will have to wait til the actual release date to properly try out the online mode.

In the meanwhile I have played a few games against the CPU in the Champions League mode and well I dunno if it is just me but it does play better than the demo, not by a huge margin but still better. Taking me a while to get back into the swing of things (and I still don't think it is better than FIFA 10) but hey I am enjoying it for what it is. Hugely improved over the 2008 and 2009 versions which were awful. I am playing the PS3 version and did notice some slowdown during "cutscenes" but the actual gameplay itself is fine.

Strange but I did notice that despite the game having the official Champions League mode that all the teams involved in the competition are not included. Most notable exclusions include the German teams like Bayern and Wolfsburg, well either that or I am going blind! Oh and incase people were not aware only Man Utd and Liverpool have all the official kits and stuff in the "English League".

I know hoolak briefly mentioned the community mode recently and yeah that is included, not really sure what its full purpose is but hey it is there! Something to do with keeping a record of matches played between friends/groups of people?!

Anyway, so yeah it is a good football game. Is it better than FIFA 10?! Hmm, I don't think so but what I do think is that there is room for both to co-exist.

I got it today as well, I felt it plays better than demo. I'm disappointed that you can't import any badges you've made in PES09. I would have thought they would have put that feature in the 360, you could do it on the PS2 versions from what I remember.

It's the same as FIFA's Lounge Mode.

WENB blog are currently beavering away on a PS3 option file for this. They hope to get a good chunk of it done for Friday.

I think there's going to be a patch on Friday too which will sort out the out of date transfers.

So far, so good. Yeah, not the best game in terms of licenses, animations and it does have the odd clumsy scenes on the pitch, but I am enjoying it very much.

I like the pace and the extra cautious factor in terms of how you must play in comparison to the last couple of versions. Good to see build-up play given extra focus instead of one-man power runs. However, Messi is still a beast, as is C.Ronaldo, but I suppose, rightfully so.

If the online holds up, then I should be playing up until the 2011 game.

Yeah Ezee, the Community Mode you've seen was offline, but Adam from WENB confirmed there's online support for it too.

Mines shipped yesterday as well, should arrive here in Oz next week sometime.

I take it they're going to release a patch on the official release date to enable online then? Seems a bit strange it doesnt work without it, but I guess as long as it works properly post-patch we'll all be happy.

Needless to say I love it, think it is better than Fifa (so much so that I may trade Fifa in now)

Not sure if it's me or not but I normally struggle against the AI for the first few games but last night I was banging them in for fun.

Just hope that the online is lag free when we can play on Friday

This is superb IMO,far better than Fifa in many ways like:

1)Plays better all round,in Fifa its far to easy to create scoreing chances all the time where as in PES you realy do have to work at it and be patient and sometimes a half will go by without any real clear cut chances for either team.

2)Player individuality and with this i mean when the likes of Messi,Nani,Ronaldo ect the realy fast dribblers and speed merchants are running at full pelt with the ball yeah you can get by a defender or two but the reverse side of this is that they can also be knocked of the ball very easily cos of there lack of strength to go with there pace,but then you try running at pace and take on defenders with the likes of Berbatov and your going no where fast but you aint getting knocked of the ball easily and can carry the ball a good distance whilst holding of players to and that for me is the biggest difference this year and that players individual skills and strengths realy does make a huge difference.

3) The look and feel of the game is also much better done than Fifa for me,the night time Champions Leagues games are just a superb example of captureing the exact look and feel of the competition we all know and love on a tue/weds night with superb lighting effects,different shades of grass on the pitches just that something that makes it all look and feel just right and must mention about the pitches cos no matter what pitch you choose in Fifa to play on they all look and feel the same but in Pro Evo you do get the impression at all and if you are playing at OT or at Anfield or Camp Nou ect then it realy does feel like you are palying at those grounds.

4)Graphics are not everything in a game but this realy is a beauty to look at with some of the top players being scary real looking and the way the shirts crease n move as players run around is another neat touch plus i dont think some of the animations people complain about are not that bad at all.

As for keeper howlers only had one in the 10 games or so we have played and i also like to play in TV2 view every know n then cos it realy does look fantastic making the game even better to play/watch.

So overall well happy with this and roll on the patches..

There's a patch for download (V1.01 27MB). This is to enable online (no transfers or anytihng fancy).

There's a notice when you go on saying how the servers will go live at 12:00 today. Although the server are accessible now, they are still in a preparatory state so you may get disconnected or have records deleted without prior warning. Also, you may not get on the servers at all at times up until the scheduled start time.

Liking it so far, a massive improvement over the abysmal demo. Why Konami chose to release such a poor demo i'll never know.

Still undecided as to which i prefer out of this and Fifa10 though. Both have their plus and minus points.

Yeah keep getting kicked. Saying 'as transmission as worsened, the game must be cancelled'.

Can you try and connect to a random and see if you get in? Could be just me. Strange as I never had this problem on the online beta.
