Right, i might be picking this up sometime this week.
I'm quite interested in the option files/ editing portion of it, and just wondered if there's any good kit edit files about?
Also the same goes for boots as well.

Just copy over all the images and the Edit File. I think there was a System File in there that's not needed.
Once copied over, start the game and check it worked. What I would then do is quit the game and delete any patch data files from the top folder and then redownload them (v1.02). This just to make sure you avoid the problem of trophies not registering which was/is a problem for many after using someone elses edit file.
Don't forget, when all is done there's official dlc to download via the game's settings mode> download which fixes transfers.Comment

The new patch that is available for this, which really sorts it with a few niggly problems it had and improves response times, ball physics and general smoothness of play. Konami never make these downloads obvious or easy to find though. Within the PES 2010 menu go to system settings-downloads then get the patch you get around 5 new sets of boots and balls as well as the gameplay improvements mentioned above. Some more patch details can be found below. With this patch I must also mention refs improve dramatically now giving free kicks and at long last penalties. People have also mentioned defense A.I being tightened up, which is welcome as sometimes the defense of the CPU would never clear a cross and I would score so many headers before this patch.

This really needs to be the MOTHER of all PES patches and then some...I've had PES 2010 for the 360 since just before Xmas and so far I've found it to be nothing short of awful beyond all reasonable belief. Players not immediately responding to presses of the pass button, no fluidity WHATSOEVER in the passing, arguably the worst AI ever to grace a PES game for both team-mates and opponents, etc...I could go on and on, in all honesty.Originally posted by JU! I don't know what this game is currently...but it ain't PES as I've grown up knowing it, and it sure as hell isn't football. Seabass and his team need to go back to the PURE basics for PES 2011 and make it all about the football again...I really couldn't give a feck about light textures and graphical details where the players are concerned (the graphical novelty in footie games is well and truly worn out - that includes FIFA too) - I just want a free-flowing game of football that allows me to control the pace of the game as well as vary my style of play as and when I want to. If we're all honest (even Hoolak), PES hasn't offered such a complete experience since the halcyon days of PES 2-6/WE 6-10.
As a staunch PES/WE man, I'm incredibly close to doing "the unthinkable" and trading my copy of PES 2010 in for FIFA 10. I'm that disappointed and disheartened by the awfulness of it.

I've bought PES saturday and I'm actually pleased with it. I'm kind of fed up with FIFA (after winning a few competitions etc) which does seem to have all the classic deathtraps and random shot directions yet again.
I started PES 2010 UEFA CL mode on Regular, and stomped Olympique Marseille with 1-5. I was surprised at how easy this game was. So went for Top Player right away and now I actually have to put some effort in it.
I like the graphics and lighting, its less fuzzy than FIFA and the faces are really well done. After a deflected corner I made a cracking volley with Sergio Ramos, it filled my heart with joy. More than scoring in FIFA ever did. Thats the one thing PES always excelled at.
Some things look borked though, such as animations of fake shots. Its as if they simply cut it out.Last edited by saturn-gamer; 24-01-2010, 19:36.Comment

Decided to pick this up again as Sainsburys have the 360 version for £15. Normally get the PS3 versions to be honest, but that wasn't on offer unfortunately. Anyway, i was wondering if anyone could advise me as to the best Option File out there for the 360 version for kits and transfers etc?
