You 100%-ed Oblivion just before starting Fallout 3 GOTY? I'm glad it's not just me who didn't finish it when it first came out! I didn't get it into it first time round, but then I loved Fallout 3, so gave it another go and really got into it, but then my 360 went, and i haven't really got back into it yet...

Did that Facebook thing and got myself a free Chrome Line XJ13...
EU version only unfortunately. Courtesy of Gamefaqs...
Free Jaguar XJ13 Chrome Line
1) Have a facebook account (or create a throwaway one with a temp mail service)
2) Go to: http://apps.facebook.com/takeittothetrack/
3) Play "shot in the dark"
4) When the lap is over (1min/30sec) click some guys face on the right hand side to set a grudge
5) A screen will pop up and ask to set more grudges, change from "Friends" to "My Locale" at the top, and choose 4 more random people.
6) Click GT Profile and on the right hand side there will be a code for you (Redeem code), enter it in PSN store, download and it will be in your garage!

Sorry, I'd offer to help you myself, but my "prehistoric|" PC had problems with the thing and I was hugely relieved to see my download code appear. The thing was so slow I though I had missed it.
Maybe someone else here with something a bit more modern can do the job more simply.
You can win the normal car from the A spec Indy 500 (took me under 2.5 hours)

Unfortunately you can't send the XJ13 to anyone... I tried.
Just discoverd that I now have the car on every Account on my PS3... needn't have worried!
Darwock, if you have the Japanese Version of the game go to the Playstation store and download the Pressie that PD graciously decided to give to ONLY Japanese players in the shape of three Chrome Line cars... the XJ13, M3 and Murcielago. Available from Christmas Eve I think to New Year.

Glad to be of service! The joys of frequenting GTP... Now if I had a Japanese copy of GT5 I could make use of those cars! Yes, I did download them, just on the offchance they would work.
Currently saving money (well... buying a few cars... tally is now 500) and waiting for the NOMAD Diablo to turn up in the Used Car Dealer. So, there is around 12 million in the kitty as I am running the Extreme American Indy race for money, I think I am even 150K Experience into Lv 30, from my money runs.
Happy Christmas GT5-ers!

Got my Driving Force GT Wheel today but neither left nor right are recognised! I've tried it with GT & NfS:HP & every button & pedal seems to be recognised in both barring the actual turning! Is it faulty or am I doing something wrong?!?
/edit: Power supply found under all the kids boxes & packaging. I assume that will sort it.Last edited by Mr M0by; 25-12-2010, 15:00.

I think it works on the principle that if you crash you are not going to get a good time so doesn't bother. Just as well with my driving ability. Having said that, I was online with some friends from another forum and we raced Toscana in the Impreza Sedan '10 and I won comfortably even after the other three racers diappeared off into the distance initially. Horror of horrors... my driving may be improving!
Had a brief try of the Vettel Challenge and quickly abandoned it due to driving abilitly... then, the thing is insanely fast. Roll on Lv 35 B spec then I can try the X2010 to my hearts content!
No NOMAD yet. At this rate I will max out my credits! Currently in excess of 12 mil in the kitty.
Does anyone else find the amount of Exp required for the higher levels somewhat daunting?

Golded the Mustang and Mini. Got 3rd on Nascar nurb, but I drove sloppy. Silver on the rigged Focus challenge, I read the RS car AI uses Sports tyres! What a laugh
Have yet to try the RX7 but I've read is just as hard as the Focus. I also wonder if this all is doable with DS3 sans the Skid Recovery aka easy mode.
