    year, you are currently in.

I'd say you're more than a quarter, but yes lots of people wanted something to nitpick about so the shortish (longer than a lot of games) singleplayer campaign has been exaggerated.

I tried playing online co-op earlier, i was having a terrible time of it. Don't bother giving it a whirl unless you have a mic and a good person to play it with. I'll try and pick up a cheap mic soon.

That makes it look far more complicated then it needs to be. This is probably one of the easiest achievements, It can be obtained just be doing the basic functions quite casually! Nothing special is required.

As for the game, just needed to add it is perfection. Absolutely adore this magnificent gem of a beast. Roll on the DLC

Just completed. What an absolutely superb, brilliant game. I have nothing else to add.

I know it's an easy achievement, but the way he gets it is pretty awesome And on that note - Portal 2 tricks video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjApK...layer_embedded
                SPOILERS, obviously.

I love this game so much. I've probably played through the whole campaign twice now. Some chapters I've done multiple times. Even other games I've loved like Mass Effect 2 I only play once

Ah yes, agreed! It certainly shows the flexibility in getting the job done :-)

I'm like you Pete, this game has got a hold on me more than most. I'm absolutely desperate to play more, and i still find the jokes funny, often chuckling to myself. Awesome, awesome stuff.

Finally hit my first room earlier today where I have no idea at all how to proceed (I know what I need to do, I just can't see how to do it). Will give it another go later. ^^

                      I'm back

in the lab now, I think it's the fifth chamber

                      .

I personally felt the original was overrated, but at the moment I'd say this deserves every plaudit that comes its way. My only complaints at the moment would be the frequent loading, and that the section without either

                      Glados or Wheatley

were barren in comparison. My only other little niggle is more to do with the controller really - where quick reflexes are required, not having a mouse is a hindrance (in that respect it's a shame that Move support wasn't added).

Beat single player in two sittings. Loved it, the pacing and level design was just right. Now onto co-op!

Just installing Steam on my PC (rebuilt recently) and noticed this when you first login:

Probably going to have the most 10's any game on here will ever get.

Personally I gave it a 9 because the middle section wasn't as dialogue heavy (especially towards the end) and had the worst instances of relying on osbcure or hard to see portal surfaces.

I think them bits where supposed to feel like that and i think it adds to the atmosphere

i loved the underground labs they had a very cool lost vibe to them and Cave Johnson was fantastic too. Barren? you must be mad isolated, spooky, atmospheric yes.

loved the single player and its one of the few games that has made me want to go back through it as others have said cant wait for the DLC or half life episode 3, in fact i want to go back and play some half life 2 because i love this universe.

Yeah, in hindsight "barren" was perhaps the wrong term. That section does ooze atmosphere as you say, but for me it lacks the humour that really characterises Portal.

Yes, this is another thing I had meant to mention. Often in that section you spend more time wondering where you're supposed to be going rather than how you should be getting there.

I'm almost done with this now I think (at least on this play-through, once I'm done here I'll start to look and see if the trophies will be fun to get and hopefully get some Steam/co-op action going too). I had to force myself to stop playing it, because I didn't want to finish it and then have to rush off to bed.
