    @ BK - Not done

    Sen's Fortress

. Don't eve know what it is!
@ PSTB - Indeed I do. I've got a Limited supply of stones to let me have a go but would like to do so at will.

Asa rule I probably won't do an NG+ on this for a long time, if ever but I also don;t care how long ti takes to finish so I'm happy visiting places that I really have no need to go to.

    Oh, in

    Londo Ruins

I don't get any souls for killing things. This is normal yes?

You can enter it only after ringing the second bell.

Unlike D'sS some enemies won't leave souls behind.

Cheers. Where's the second bell then?

Damn, I can't add a second poll (for scores). Any objections to me capturing the current starting class poll in the first post and replacing the poll with a score poll?

Blighttown's bottom level, to the right with the wooden structures behind

          your character, past

          the huge spider nest.

The same general area as The Great Hollow. The spiders nest/second bell is at the other end (past the wooden water wheel).

Follow BK below. I was getting you mixed up with Press Start To Begin.

              edit, Yeah, change the Poll.

                Those are

the Depths (sewer-like area). To access Blighttown you have to defeat the Gapin Dragon in the Depths

                .

                    Then

DO NOT speak to frampt after getting the lord vessal. It's worth reading a guide to joining the dark wraith convent, unfortunately I did not do so and ruined the chance in my current play through

.I'll post the rules up later if you want.

You don't necessarily have to go through the Depths to access Blighttown.

Providing you chose the Master Key as your item when creating your character, then you can get to Blighttown via the locked gate atop the tower in the first part of Londo Ruins (near the lift to Firelink Shrine) which will take you to Valley of the Drakes and from there you can get down to Blighttown via the water-wheel.

                        Even without the

                        Master Key

                        , you can reach the

very bottom of Darkroot Basin, take the shortcut to the Valley of Drakes and reach Blighttown. The key to open the gate to the "friendly" part of New Londo is just past three fat dung giants.
However you have to go through a Black Knight, two drakes and one mini-boss.

                        The

                        Gaping Dragon

                        is much easier.

                          FSW:-

                          1. Kill the boss behind the big doors in the forest and receive his ring, Covenant of Artorias, which will allow you to access The Abyss (you will have to do this even in New Game+, as the game takes away the ring upon completing the game.)
                          2. Branching path:
                          • Path A
Do not speak to frampt after obtaining the lordvessel, then speak to Ingward (NPC with red wizard armor) in New Londo Ruins to receive the key to open the Abyss. You can trade with Frampt all you like before you acquire the Lordvessel. After joining the covenant, Frampt will disappear.
                          • Path B
If you wish to join the covenant before obtaining the Lordvessel, you may kill Ingward to receive the key to open the door to The Abyss.

                          3. Entering The Abyss starts the battle against the Four Kings. Defeat them to proceed.
                          4. Speak to Kaathe, the primordial serpent, at The Abyss. You will have the option to Enter Covenant.

Annoyingly it is the only way to get the red eye orb to invade at will. You can get a blue orb which is what me and Fuse use. Fuse has limited success and I have had good success over a period of time. Although, Last night I played the game for 3 hours and could not invade anywhere. I have a feeling red eye will have a lot more success as blue invasions are based on people breaking covenants.

I am using invasions to delaying completing the game. I don't want it to end but I do if that makes sense. Just Gywn to kill now, seems like a fun boss to fight so he'll go down tonight.

No New game + for me, not until the next gaming drought.

I tried using the blue orb as part of my grind-fest in Darkroot last night and only got 1 invasion, so yeah, limited success remains true for me. I did up getting the last souvenirs of reprisal I needed though, even though the last 2 ended up coming from PvE (

the harpies in The Painted World of Ariamis drop them

                            ).

I'm back with Way of White to try and get summoned for some boss fights now; with no patch date in sight I'm going to try and get into Sun Bros the long way. Plus if it means I have better luck bringing someone into my game for

                            Four Kings

then I'm all for it. I am already aware that trying to get to
in human form is probably not going to end nicely though

Also, regarding the second bell - even if you do have the master key, I wouldn't recommend taking the Valley of Drakes shortcut until NG+, as there's a tonne of good loot you will miss. It's worth a quick suicide run into the Valley to grab some the loot that there's when you're low on souls, mind.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Might end up playing this instead of Skyrim tonight now lol.

Oh, new score poll is up now so get voting.

NG + seems to be so much easier in this than it was in Demons Souls, probabaly becuase its so much easier to upgrade weapons in this thanks to the black knight drops in the run up to the final boss.

Can someone list me the easiest ways to get the different coloured slabs of ore, including standard titanite one?

After one and half playthroughs Im yet to actually find one.
