im with you charles. i love that track, but by god its frustrating when you fall as the check points seem much more spread out.

I've been dabbling in this between other games, doing ok for the most part but miles behind some of you on the tougher courses. My only platinum so far is on the iron ball mini-game where I used the same filthy method as everyone else on the top of the leaderboard. I felt dirty, but given it still took me ages to get it to work I felt a bit less dirty. Only a bit though.

Can you get platinums on all courses? How do you know what to aim at? I haven't got any so far.

You have to unlock platinums first, you do this by unlocking the extreme tracks I think. for any tracks where you already meet the requirements you will then receive the platinum medal.

My progress is as follows:

- Gold with no faults on every track up to the Extreme levels
- Gold on all Extreme (with some faults) and one Platinum (No faults)
- Gold on all party games and one Platinum
- All achievements bar the finding Squirels one (Haven't looked it up) and the Flag one? (Again haven't looked it up)

Just progressing through the tournaments now trying to no fault them and get Gold medals, annoyingly you then have to remember 4-8 levels perfectly and do them all in one go which is harder than it should be at times.

I've only tried two downloaded levels so far but man they were cool!!

I downloaded TP Trials Ninja or something which was an Extreme level and completed that, was good fun and some mildly tricky parts, then also the Pandora level in the highest rating, really good level looks absolutely quality especially later on in the level, really good show of what you can do with this game.

Gotcha thanks. Glad it unlocks them retrospectively for you - was worried for a second I would have to repeat play loads of stuff

How the hell are people getting such fast times on for example the first beginner track? Are they using the micro donkey or something?

I gave this 9/10. It's a good progression from the first game, with the online racing (and track editor if you can stand that sort of thing) and if you were going to buy just one, it would have to be this one.

Go onto your leaderboards and watch your friends or the top players replays, that'll give you a good indication as to what bike to use and what routes or tricks and tips to use to get the faster times, even then its quite hard to master each bit and put it all together

WTF? Just got signed out of live. Sign back in and my save is gone. Had about a hundred medals and working on actually finishing the game!!

This game is probably one of the most unstable games I've ever played, It crashes every other game or so especially playing Private Multiplayer games on Custom maps but I'm not talking during the level, most times its before the next map even loads, I turn my xbox off and the picture is still on the screen, I then have to turn my xbox on and off 2 more times to get it to restart properly, that cannot be good for it!

When you're playing online the ammount of times the matchmaking fails to find games properly in a row isn't great either..

When it is working ok its soo much fun though, playing with my friends on custom maps is great, theres some really good new ones weekly and they'll only get better too! I've now resorted to playing any levels with the Micro Donkey bike, its tricky and very different to the others but it levels out the playing field for me and my friends because I'll complete any Extreme level way before them otherwise and the same with Hard, sometimes even still with the Micro Some parts are not actually do-able on the micro bike though due to its wheel base or wheel size

Last track I played was one called Techincal Terror, an Extreme Trials download track in the highest rater I believe, did that with the Mirco bike, download it and try it out

I suspect there may be something wrong with your box, as I have never had any issues with the game crashing. May be worth deleting the HDD cache or downloading the game again.

I'll try that, It's not just me though it happens to all my friends constantly too, its only when playing private matches but someone will always get disconnected or jammed between or during maps and have to reset their xbox.

When playing normal Xbox Live Multiplayer it doesn't jam very often it just never finds games properly then throws you back into the lobby, one example is four people get in then the map selection comes up as 'Undefined' then errors us back to matchmaking.

I really don't think its the Xbox thats the problem but I will certainly try resetting the cache though.
