I like getting capped from everywhere. It's the best sign of a good map. It means no campers or easily defensible boltholes. As for there being too many 'future stuff' CoDs: this is the first one. The Modern Warfares were hardly 'out-there' in sci-fi terms!

why can't i switch off aim assist effectively? i've disabled but it still feels like it's in place only weaker. this annoys me...
playing campaign right now and can't say i am enthusiastic about it. the so called tactical Strike Force missions are a pain in the ass. they feel overwhelming and not intuitive at all. anybody got an advice on how to tackle them best?

I also agree about the narrow field of view. I've walked past a few guys not even realising they were basically stood next to me until i saw it in the killcam. Spawning next to enemies is still a prob too. The points system is a great idea but on the smaller maps its impossible to reach as u just get gunned down from all areas, which is why they've now allowed non weapon based kills to count towards your score/kill streak (but it still doesn't help)

So uh, I played a bit of Tranzit online last night and my mind is still boggled...The online players went about their business with purpose and organisation too, making me feel a right ninny. I watched what they were doing of course, but couldn't make out why they were doing it. It can't just be me that finds this mode baffling, can it? I mean, I know you shoot the zombies and that...
Tried 'moshpit' MP after leaving Tranzit in a bit of a huff. Got shot loads, then after a demeaning number of deaths I miraculously dropped a bunch of fools, then I got shot loads and then there was a server error. It's the little moments of not dying that fuel low level players to carry on, I guess...Seems you just have to grin and bear the first few hours of online for it to gradually become enjoyable, and for you to become skillful through the unlocking of well fly weapons and perks. I'm not convinced that's good game design...
I'm sounding like a bit of a grump here, but it's obviously fun overall. I'll give it another bash later today and see how I fare...

There is definitly alot more sucking it up for the low level, there just no space to breath, no where to hide, which does happen in other games they usually come with HP/Armour(TF/Qauke) bars and Shields(Halo) instead of bang your dead.
I've well and truely given up on the LMG's, being static or slow moving aiming down the sights is insta death now which is the reason for SMG's i see every player using (100% guarantee with the hipfire mod), i gone back to basics with the assault rifle with quicks aim, recoil and Aim speed movement mods and Shotgun with range and Hipfire mods and using the shock stick to cover my ass when moving forward has cut down on getting whacked from behind.
If i could stomach the ass whooping i would try to level an LMG to get the stock mod for speed movement but its to high level to be worth unlocking, ****ing game...Last edited by Tobal; 18-11-2012, 14:22.
