I've only dabbled in MP and its decent enough but on 360 the matchmaking seems to be broken. If I search for a specific game type in a playlist it sits there forever and doesn't find a game and displays "searching 1 - 25 games". So I tried quick match and whilst it works I only ever found games with around 6 people playing at any one time.

Surely there are more people playing than that?? As it stands you get a taste for MP and really it plays like COD with FC aesthetics... So you can creep around the map in foliage and use ziplines but essentially the gun play is very COD esque.

I'd play more, if it worked. One thing I did notice is there are three playlists purely for map editor content. Gold being maps hand picked by Ubi, Silver being the most rated content of the week/month and Bronze just a big hopper of anyone's content.

It's a pity because it could actually be great but right now something is very wrong with the connection system.

Shame. Hope they patch it, then, as it sounds fun, esp. rotation of user-made maps.

I'm 25 hours in now (PC), with about 3-4 hours on 360. I can't say I agree on the graphics being similar, for me the main difference is that I get a steady frame rate on PC; but on 360 it seems to be up/down all the time, and the lowered res makes it hard to spot things on screen. I am also sure that the landscape is scaled down on 360, with increased popping. Still looks wonderful though, but on 360 I would say Crysis 1 is better looking.

Anyway, I have just found the
and have cleared all outposts on the top Island on the map. The variety and style of the SP missions has taken me by surprise, this game delivers a spades in terms of value of money! Suddenly it's gone a bit Unchartered, and a tight COD style attack on a
. I said it before, but I'll say it again, I reckon the devs are really passionate about games, I just can't imagine putting so much detail and content into a game without having a burning enthusiasm for what you are doing.

I now unlocked some of the

          Showcase weapons

          my favorite being the

          Shredder.

I also did a very fun side mission that has a fun Easter Egg. Lets just say

your best friend from FC2 returns!

I haven't finished yet, IGN states
missions and after 25 hours I have done less than half of them. Either the second half of missions are far shorter than the firts, or the 25 hour reviewers didn't lap up the side quests and treasure hunting. I have loads of hunting/assassination and races left too.

At this stage, with some much enjoyment experienced, and what seems to be a large ammount of content left, this gets a 10 for me. If it ruins the game like Far Cry and Crysis with Aliens I will be totally gutted, but as it stands this is the best game I have played this generation. It's a perfect game for me. Thanks Ubi!

Easy to get lost in side missions

Ending is poor and very predictable

Moves you buy with points could easily not be there

I did like it and ive gone back to it for abit of a clean up but after I have finished with the co-op I cant see much value in it.

7/10 maybe drifts to a 6 towards the end.
Few more impressions. Still don't understand all the 10's for this.

            Pros -

Co-op is great fun its like left for dead but with real people, it does tend to repeat objectives quite abit though. Good laugh using RPGs and not having to worry about ammo.
VSs games in Co-Op are again great fun.
Playing poker for the achievement and the 70m Bow and Arrow challenge was surprisingly great!

            Cons -

Co-Op Lag can be awful with both me and a my friend on 60mb connections this shouldn't be happening.
Matchmaking just doesn't work well at all.
Re-spawning animals taking out enemy camps when trying to do challenges for tattoos. (After completing the game I only have so many bad guys left.)
            De-spawning Guns.
Altered bad guys will run into walls and corners and get stuck and stay alerted. I also had one bad guy just stand still waving others over for no reason. (They ignored him)

Its really a solid 7 for me now. Finding Co-oP fun even though its a little repetitive, very much a left for dead style gameplay minus the zombies. Disappointed that Co-oP addon's only seem to be coming to PS3. Game is in desperate need of a good patching, I have the PC version but once I have a 1000g on the 360 one not sure I will want to go back to it.

Absolutely loving this so far and I normally detest this type of thing, I have turned a bit feral and instead of doing the missions I just take off on a hunt a thon I nearly got mauled last night after taking down a tiger a bloody ostrich thing comes strutting towards me wanting a go, he didn't know I had a grenade left its a 9 so far for me but it really is pushing close to that 10. Great game

I think the thing that pushed it to 10 for me was the missions. I just anticipated that they would be A to B type affairs, using the amazing scenery. I was astounded to the variation in location and effort put in on SP story. Stand Alone as an FPS the single player is a solid 8 for design. Then add the open world and RPG type elements (Side missions, racing etc) and the sum of the parts take it to the lofty heights of a 10 for me.

I feel like the deisgners have delivered the "Gamers game." You are free to experiment and tackle things as you please. During my first 5-6 hours I felt underpowered and a tiger or even lizard could kill me in seconds. So I really went for "Grinding" my character and now enjoy kicking serious arse instead!

multiplayer on psn was very enjoyable last night. very competitive games, good teamwork, no camping.

The game runs great too; massive maps and pretty smooth - still havent worked out the perk system yet

A great addition to a fantastic game

After 31 hours I've finally fully clocked the single player of this - all side missions complete, story done and dusted. Absolutely awesome throughout - the consistently high standard is surprising for a sandbox game like this.

                        The last couple of missions

went a bit GTA in terms of throwing everything and the kitchen sink at you - I ended up feeling like I was blundering my way through it in a panicked state for the most part -

but everything else was just so ruddy darn enjoyable.

Some of the takedowns made me feel like such a boss when I pulled them off - the knife takedown never gets old, and a successfully completed pistol takedown is just one of the most satisfying gaming moments of the year as far as I'm concerned.

Definitely my personal favourite game of this winter's releases, and it's kept me off the Wii U for an entire week.

My son and I are really enjoying this game, it's fabulous. I hated the sequel, but this is brilliant. I would love to see a top pc running this! Bring on the new xbox, hurry...... This would be even more incredible!

Ok so they patched MP and now matchmaking works. MP is surprisingly decent though I had to dial the control sensitivity up to halfway.

I'm probably about just over the midpoint of the SP and it just got really good. Agree for an open world sandbox game they've nailed the actual mission structure better than games like BO2 which is saying something indeed. Behind Halo4 this is my favourite shooter this year but for very different reasons.

29 hours and now starting on the [HIDE]Second Island[/HIDE]. Silenced 50cal with extended mag & super scope works just fine. I am loving every moment of the game, and even find the story strangely compelling. Love the [HIDE]wing suit [/HIDE] hadn't seen any spoilers and was grinning like a lune.

I still just can't believe how much detail is hidden around the landscape, it feels like a proper adventure.

I've just crafted everything to maximum now, so I'll continue to do a bit of the main quest, done that medusea ship bit, but I'm not in a rush, too busy enjoying taking bases and exploring!
