Oh fair do's i didn't know that. Its good to see that they've finally included that option.

Btw, anyone who moaned about Black Ops 1's visuals (which i really liked as it gave a more dark, dirty, true to life atmosphere compared to the clean perfect lines of other CODs) are gonna hate the visuals in Ghosts as they are even more grainy & basic

Grey. By god this is grey, it's pretty miserable looking from that stand point. The WiiU version is sharp looking, I'm guessing a par for the 360 version again. Whilst the next gen version won't look much different it's not hard to work out where little bits will improve. Map design seems good, nowhere near as basic as recent entries, controls (and this might just be the WiiU version) feel a tad off, hard to pin what exactly, just not quite as good a feel. Still, overall pretty decent but despite long preferring this over it's rival I think BF4 (next gen) is going to stomp this.

Tried using the Gamepad and the game oddly plays much better, mustn't be properly optimised for pro controller. Trouble is the gamepad isn't really comfortable for these games so the ps4 version should feel like a joy lol

So have clocked a few hours on this and it really is MW3 2.0. Lag is an issue not just for me but many players complaining. When you play against some players in EU they trounce you cos they see you way before you seen them. But I knew that going in.

My only hope is their focus is on PS4 version so lag is a thing of the past. I accept they probably didn't want to spend money or couldn't fix it. The one thing they could have fixed surely is the graphics, as I have said before they are so washed out seeing other players at long distance is tougher than it should be compared MW 1 to 3.

My advice get it on next gen.

That really is ridiculous. Do they not think people will notice or care?

But we changed the helicopter, look, its a car now!

This is why I don't buy these games.

Its a bit cheap considering the budget they have access to but its nothing that Capcom etc haven't been doing for decades. I'd be more annoyed if it was a level etc

                  Things I don't like about PS3 version:

Big maps + fewer players = campers galore (as well as near-Battlefield levels of trudging about to find the action)
                  Washed out and low-texture visuals
Too many smashed building/interior corridor type maps, which all merge into one dreary memory
Lag (I can't believe there are dedicated servers behind this, as pledged by IW for current gen too)
Fiddly loadout system/menus, which makes it difficult to compare pros and cons
Overall lack of polish in UI/menus
                  The breathtakingly obnoxious 'maniac' killstreak
                  Bulletproof dogs

                  Things I like:

When my dog runs around with my 'Abused Dog' PSN ID over his head

...I think I'm ready to concede this series is - or will shortly - be history.

WOW....saw the ps3 version earlier, the graphics are absolute turd. Just shockingly bad.

Shimmering/alaising, super low res, textures that are like the hd version of resi 4...shocking considering that mw1/2 were great looking games online or off.

This iteration has to be the one that breaks the camels back.

As a multiplayer experience you wouldn't recommend this at ?9.99 on psn...and the budget is how many billions?

The maps are a complete structureless mess.

Had a feeling the PS3 version would suffer, it's always been behind and with a haphazard port it would easily be a mess. Thankfully the WiiU version is much better, not perfect but so far no campers, dogs can be taken and it's sharp

Is there plenty of games/players on wiiu?

Well obviously launch period, but i'd imagine it will dry up quick.

At any one time the total figure seems to hover around 1600. If you're only after TDM it finds games easy but other modes are much sparser populated.

A bit more play and I'm settling in, I like the killstreak system here. Probably the most subdued since MW, I'm going to see how the PS4 version holds up and how BF4 feels. If there's a big difference though I might trade it in after a couple of weeks and rely on BF4 and eventually maybe Titanfall for my mp kicks. It's alright but signs are the series (and IW) need a wake up call.

Every review I have read or watched for this game has played Multiplayer on a LAN set up which is a total misrepresentation of the game. Hence there is no mention of online LAG in single review.

When will one these tossing game sites review the REAL PRODUCT!!! I would rather wait a week after launch to read a real review of the finished product in the real world, not the controlled PR environment which is becoming the norm.

Remember when games mags BOUGHT games, played them and published reviews. Lets go back to that please!

That never happened, gaming journalism is just as bent as any other.
