Well I randomly stumbled across a Husk of the Pit with my lower level Titan yesterday so I guess I ?€‹have?€‹ to do a raid now.

Yeah, the stuff you want the most usually appears when you least expect it. You're gonna love the Gjallarhorn when you get it fully powered up. It absolutely rips bosses to shreds, especially when mixed with a solar damage nightfall/weekly and/or weapons of light. Seven ghorn rockets will take off the majority of the Archon Priest's energy in this weeks nightfall. It's gradually replaced Ice Breaker as my favourite exotic weapon.Last edited by bcass; 05-02-2015, 21:41.

I finally got a rocket launcher with tracking from the crota raid, (the Hunger of Crota). I helped a few guys from my friends list some hadn't done crota before and none of us had run the sword at the end. They where all between lvl 31s and a 27 so it was hard going at times but we did pretty well. They had been struggling to get passed ir yut so i wasn't fancying our chances at finishing Crota.
We pretty smoothly got past the lamps and the bridge and even got the shrieker corridor gauntlet chest. then it was on to ir yut It tooks us a few attempts but eventually we hit her hard enough and three of us where still standing as she fell.
Crota was a bit harder as our lower level team members where struggling for health, I ran the sword solo for the first time as i was the only 32 and after a few missed opportunity and a couple of bugs we got our timings right, at the third sword it looked like it was all over as he jumped off the platform and started chasing me about.but we got to safety got one more sword and took him out.
I really felt like id earned my rocket launcher by the end of the run and id recommend everyone having a go carrying the sword, its a lot more rewarding being up there right in the thick of it. I'm Still loving this game, the level of team work and timing required for the raids is crazy fun and when you get everyone working well together its such a rewarding experience I cant wait to see what they do next house of wolves cant come soon enough.

Ive really been getting into the raids recently too lebowski and i can hoenstly say i finnaly get what bcass has been preaching since it went online. The raids are where destiny is at and are a fantastic piece of design, its just a shame bungie cant keep on top of the raid breaking bugs, im prone to them, im sure its a monumental task however.
Ir yurt is always where my croata groups struggle as not one of us has had a tracking launcher, however ive obtained gjallahorn recently plus my mate did a week before, along with my other regular pal gaining truth im much more confident for that section in the future, along with at least 3 other regular players we raid with already having them.

Now it seems like the raids can be done in just over an hour each, Tuesday night saw me doing two raids nightfalls and two weeklys in just a few hours play.

anyone online tonight and want to do some strikes?

Soooo, this week's nightfall was fun - burnless omnigul -_-
After the best part of an hour (it was probably longer) I managed a glasshouse for my lvl 8 titan. Could have been worse I guess, the other two guys got energy each
I swear, if xur is selling plan c, no land beyond or another equally as trolling weapon this weekend, I will be doing something considered not very socially acceptable!

It seems the most challenging thing about beating Crota on hard mode these days is dealing with random bugs. The night before last he bugged out 3 times after enraging and seconds before going down. Twice he just froze as soon as enrage kicked in. No amount of rockets would make him kneel. The third time enrage launched me - I was the sword guy - off the map!
This isn't a one off either. Last week we had the freeze bug and, even weirder, an instance everyone bar me and one other guy was kicked from the raid when he enraged. Otherwise hard mode is comfortably on farm status - it just seems you have to beat him two or three times per attempt!
