Game's Current Trade in Deal

Are there any good Xbox games that will be classed as a new release do you know Bowser?

Well all the new stuff like Star Wars KOTOR 2 and Republic Commando, Oddworld and Mercenaries. Then "classics" like EA **** such as N4S and Urbz that still sell.
The crappy new Fifa Street is out Friday too, alongside Project Snowblind and Robots.

TBH how I was told it would work is all the games will trade in for a special price of ?7.25 (set on till), leaving 99p to pay. However, some new stuff is ?34.99 meaning they have to discount it by ?5 manually. So, theoretically as long as the game is no more than ?35 (all chart stuff) you should be fine picking anything.


Edit- and if the game you want is out after the 16th (Resi 4 for example), get something else and then use the 10 day policy to swap for Resi 4.

Edit 2- Our store (and nationwide, presumably, is doing Die Hard for the cube for 99p on special offer. Get it bought and traded.

Are you sure that this deal includes all games across all formats?, the store I work in recieved a pack of flyers in yesterdays delivery but only 3 or 4 PS2 games were shown namely GT4, MGS3: Snake Eater, Robots & Project Snowblind.

If it is all games then it looks like I'll be raiding the pre-owned basket for cheap crap and picking up a bunch of DS stuff,Oddworld and Mario Tennis.

Was in store this afternoon. I think it is only premarked games, with a sale price of 30 quid. SO... only certain titles fall into this offer!!

OH... and you cant use football or sport games to trade in... it is nonsense in reality!!

If you saw the amount of copies of pre-owned FIFA 2003 and Smackdown Just bring It in our stockroom mate you'd know exactly why football & wrestling games aren't in these kind of deals. I could build a fort out of the FIFAs we have rotting away down there.

I have some crappy Pool game for the PC that I picked up for 99p before Christmas for this very occasion.

hmm im probably gonna swap a few gba games which i never play this weekend, i want to get a DS for my sister, but i think you have to swap a few other things like a SP console aswell, can someone who works in game tell me the deal on getting a ds pleaseee thanks

You can only get GT4, Metal Gear, Fifa Street, Project Snowblind or Robots in the offer. Basically swap 4 games and 99p for oneof those.

Nothing to stop you choosing Metal Gear, saying it's **** and swapping it for a title not in the offer and paying the difference.

you're correct, IIRC, you can only trade in games from the four main formats like it has been since the start - GC, XB, PS2 and GBA. Imagine what would happen if there was a slip-up and everybody rushed to trade in their old PC gubbins, christ

Pity that there are only 5 games in the trade-in deal. still, I might pick up metal gear if I can bring myself to trade in some stuff.

But, hang on, can't you just take any of the games you want, then take them back in a day or two to exchange them for anything you want? That's what I reckon I'll do to get my hands on Resi 4 and Project Rub .
