Original Xbox Games Playable on Xbox 360

Started playing Halo 2 on co-op last night on the 360 but it sets the split screen up side by side, I know when this happened with the original Xbox, you went to the dash and changed it to 4:3 and not Widescreen I think and that sorted it to top and bottom split screen but you cant do it this time..

Is it possible at all as playing side by side is so restrictive, you can barely see around you..

has anybody played halo 2 on the 360 using a VGA cable to their TFT monitor ? Mine works but its all vertically stretched like the XBOX emulation software ignores the 360 dash settings.

Have you set the dashboard to meet the highest resolution of the screen?

Has anyone tried Capcom classics collection or the taito ones on X360? Got the DOA stick on the way and fancy some retro games to play on it.

yup.

The xbox emu doesnt seem to take anything from the 360 dash. 1280x1024 .. works fine in Kameo , PGR3 etc .

Yeah its something like that.. TFT monitors dont have any settings like TV's do to set them to 16:9 if theyre not widescreen. Shame as Halo 2 looks really nice on 360

I know some people have mentioned Splinter Cell Chaos Theory running ok on the 360 here but I had a bit of a problem when I tried it last night.
The update went fine and the single player was working great but to connect to Live it had to update. After this I noticed that the single player missions would not load past 90% and the system just got stuck basically.
I googled but couldn't find anything other than one person mentioning that with the update you can only play online as the single player doesn't work. The only way I got it to work again was to delete the profiles and start anew.

Has anyone else had this problem or tried both online and single player missions? Thanks!

Not SC, but I had Halo 2 crash whilst loading, and whilst signing into XBL on my 360 since updating the latest backwards software (which I belive was the Ubisoft games one).

I think that bug happened with the update they released for splinter cell and some other clancy games but I thought theyd fixed that with ANOTHER update.

All I know is so far this kinda sucks.
