I think Ninty are getting overconfident - Sony never had a stranglehold on the handheld market in the same way they do the home market.

But it would be nice if Ninty were at least considered a worthy competitor again.

I suppose at the end of the day, it's pretty much Reggies job to say they're going to be number 1, but I agree I'm still hessitant as to how successful the Wii will be overall (though I'm definately getting one myself no questions asked as I can't wait) I'm not 100% convinced it'll be a repeat of the DS.

Don't let the internet fool you, but they were. They are only about 4 million units behind the Xbox, I'm making this sound small because the PS2 has like a 80 million advantage.

It would be quite nice actually if all consoles this generation could co-exist peacefully, I don't see the need for any to go.

Nintendo's major failing this time around was third-party support. In fact, I think they isolated a lot of people back in the N64 days and then never really recovered. The attitudes of developers seem to be changing but it's going to take real games support to change their fortunes. Personally I think the DS prediction is spot-on and wouldn't be at all surprised if it comes true.

eugh, black Wii controller looks awful...

The final controller needs to be one shade of black for the top and the bottom.
The greyish colour is horrible, although I guess that is because the bottom won't be glossy like the top.
