US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

Just first time, I think. Had the ****ing run around with that at the weekend. faxed them my CC details. Said it was too dark- said I'd send again but if it didn't work, I may have to cancel. So I scanned the stuff, got ready to send and the guy told me they had cancelled my order. Couldn't be arsed. My Play Asia Wii will be with me tomorrow (crosses fingers)

Also,a prewarning, if tracking from the dhl.ca site, it will say 'Bad Address' 3 times whe it gets to the East Midlands - ignore it, means nothing and does not appear when tracking on the UK page.

Just got off the phone with Derek.

Apparently the Wiis are not in the UK after all. He told me that they'd accidentally put 'KU' instead of 'UK' on the shipping details, and they ended up in Kuwait. They were going to have them routed back to Canada but too many flights were cancelled so they've just written that batch off entirely.

The next batch should start shipping tomorrow. They were going to ship today, but a cat got into the office and while they were shooing it away they missed the shipping deadline.

He also let me know that there's a chance tomorrow they might miss the shipping deadline too, as he was going to see his mum in the early afternoon for a chat.

He said something about an alien abduction too, but I was zoning out by then.

Then he promised me that all the Wiis in the US were actually in the UK and would ship tomorrow.

Not sure what's going on tbh.

What's your shipping info saying mate? Ordered yesterday afternoon and it's on it's way over as we speak. My guess is mine will make it's way from London to Glasgow tomorrow and be out for delivery to my address on Friday.

Zelda, Trauma Center, Red Steel and Rayman Raving Rabbids shipped by VG+ after I asked to do so...just to keep custom costs down. I don't kwno when I'll get my Wii but knowing that the four titles I care more about are enroute makes me happy.

Yeah, mine It's the only one i can afford, skint ATM. I hope it has really shipped and they're not just talking ****- 'cause i mean the other guy that ordered it has been told it's in the UK and being shipped with an amtrack number tomorrow...so i can hope.
