Grrr can't place an order cos their stupid systems won't let me change my credit card address and i cant order unless the address is correct (i haven't ordered from GP since moving flat).....bloody hell!

Just ordered, but am a little worried there's still no mention of component cables. I spoke to a guy at gameplay on the phone and they don't know whether these will be ready for launch, if at all (basically they know as much as we do). He said there would be no trouble cancelling the order between now an launch.

My only concern also. Surely Nintendo won't be stupid enough to remove the component output this time. I hope they're already having regrets about not jumping on the HD bandwagon.

Currently QA on one of the games for the Wii and i'm finding out loads of requirements from nintendo today, will keep people abreast of any 100% legal requirements regarding video woes.

Good man. My main concern is that we get a machine with component out, but none of the games support progressive. rgb looks like arse on my current tele compared to 480p and is not an option.

The Nintendo UK site mentions component output. So I guess it'll be left intact.

tell me about it, i stuck on Okami with my component cable and it might be not progressive scan (i think) but it shat all over my AV/RGB cable i've got.

There is a wii (sorry) disclaimer at the bottom of Gameplay's e-mail:

Please note all consoles will be fulfilled on a strictly first come first served basis, subject to stock availability.

As Nintendo have not yet confirmed the number of units available for day one, we cannot guarantee launch day delivery but all pre order customers will be e-mailed as soon as we know. Strictly one Wii console per customer.
