UK Wii pre-orders Thread

I preorder from Gameplay with Zelda, looks like people have taken the website out though. Gameplay isn't connecting anymore

I hope the ?40 price for games is just another placeholder. I know that's the same RRP as most current-gen games had and rarely (if ever) actually sold for, but with 360 games being ?50+ and PS3 games looking to be even more costly, I'm not too hopeful. The cynic in me just knows the retailers can't wait to inflate the price and tell us to shut up and be grateful because it's comparatively cheaper than other platforms.

Placed an order but im really not sure if its the right choice.

The gamecube absolutely stunk for Pal releases, I mean they were so badly delayed or just not even released it forced me to sell my Pal cube for a US one, I hope it doesn't have to be the case with the Wii but Nintendo Europe has alot to prove in my opinion.

I dont really like to import, its a bit of a hassle and the value of the goods depreciates alot more than domestic versions.

Any US GC games I tried to sell went for such small amounts, hardly worth selling.

I tend to sell games alot to put towards new ones, so really want to stick with UK Pal stuff, but just hope it all works out good.

oh well, ?220 for a Wii, that free sports game and Zelda sounds pretty good to me.
