I remember a friend who did that. I didn't realise why he was doing it, so the first time I saw it I thought he'd lost his marbles.

The heat is what kills the lens eye, hence less power to read, hence the eye being dropped closer to the disc, hence it then working.

Exactly what is the dealio with PDZ? I boot it up this morning and my save is allegedly corrupt, everything else seems to be ok, however.

GRAW has hung on me. The mission where you have secured the tanks and need to use the 50cal gun to stop all the enemy overrunning you.

Still i am a bit concerned with the sheer amount of people who have had problem with the x360 its got to be above average compared to most launches

As the poll ends tomorrow and I will not be using my 360 now until after this time, I voted No.

I got my Premium on 17 January, it has a January manufacture date, it's noisy, blows lots of hot air out the back and discs are hot when you remove them, but no disc cracks, crashes, or any problems to this point. It even survived being on for over 12 hours today playing GR:AW multiplayer (I wasn't playing constantly for the 12 hours).

It's crazy really,they launch this console with so many damned problems going on and does this bode well for PS3,nope not one little bit!!

I give up,i'll go back to just playing 16Bit Consoles.......

not sure if it's just me, and i'm too lazy to read, but i've not had a single problem with the X360 until the recent update.

Games freeze sporadically when dropping into the dash from ingame, for around 2-3 minutes. It's happened quite often. :/

Had GRAW completely lock up the 360 during an online co-op game this afternoon. An hour later RR6 locked up whilst playing online game too.

Hope this isn't a sign of thing to come.

Yup i was just hosting a GRAW match - just locked up. Including Mp3's from the HDD while playing.

Do you think the 360 just doesnt know what to do if it gets knocked offline while playing online etc?! If it is surely a patch can sort it?! Cant be the drive if the Mp3's from the HDD stopped playing too?!

Ive had 3/4 "Freezes" on my 360 - All while being online in some form or other (PGR while contacting leaderboard etc) and online on GRAW.
