I just got an email from Game regarding the whole pre order thing - they dropped the price by £7 hours after shipping orders (for those who don't know). Anyhow email has a code for £10 off a £40 or more spend - slightly cheeky as most games are £39.99 - but COD5 LE looks very nice and is more than that

It has to be used on an order, not necessarily redeemed. Just add a gift wrap to your oder for 99p to go over the threshhold, then cancel the wrap and you're sorted

Had a right palarva with my Game online copy not turning up on thursday, friday or saturday. Went into town with brother because he wanted to finally take the plunge and buy his 1st games console since the SNES and pick up a 360 for Fallout and Gears2. Ended up going to Gamestation bought his Xbox bundle there and as my bro is into his LARP and prop making he couldn't resist buying the lancer for another 30 quid. After leaving the store and racking my brain a bit I ended up going back in and buying myself a copy of the LE and a lancer toy. When the Game copy finally arrives I'll just take it back to game sealed for a full refund. My brother is gonna be properly repainting both the lancers in non retarded colours and I might be pimping mine out with lighting and extending the barrel a bit to make it a bit more Gears 2.

Oh, and also, I asked nice about the golden hammerburst codes and the guy in Gamestation was nice enough to give both of us the midnight madness codes :-D Apparantly they didn't recieve theirs until later on friday so they had loads left over.

Bro got it from gamestation, same console bundle with nice red box but with Fallout 3 instead of the useless to him extra controller. 200 quid is a bloody bargain
