98 is a good KOF, but i think 2002 is the best KOF.
Much deeper system, more combo intensive, etc..

Looking forward to XIII, looks like they changed alot of the things i didn't like about XII.

Btw, Playmore was actually made up of ex SNK staff. Dunno if you knew that or not?

97 is the better of the old bunch, 94 sucked, 95 was ok... 96 was ---, 98 nothing special iirc, 99 I enjoyed more, 2000 I cant remember, 2001 never played, 2002 soso...
I moved on after KOF97 mixing it up with the SF/KOF combinations etc and then some others

Lol, 97 doesn't even have any BGM on some stages. And it doesn't have Geese, so it automatically loses.

KOF 98:UM is the best KOF evar anyway. It does have Geese.
