WiiU arrived from Amazon about 20 minutes ago.

Nintendoland missing.

Query to other people who received their console today, was the box sealed? Mine wasn't and it appeared to me as though the contents were upside down, as though someone had opened it up already.

No worries. Thought I'd post it while mine updated. There might be better settings down the line but for now it works and that's all that matters. lol

Black Ops 2 looks to be running pretty good online so far. Can't wait to try the pro controller.

I read about this online earlier. People are getting intouch with amazon and they are sending copies out. Seems to be an amazon only thing.

Yeah did a quick search around after I posted and it seems it's a common issue with Amazon orders. Either a dodgy shipment or someone in Amazon's warehouse has light fingers. Apparently, Amazon are now classing it as a known issue and will be sending out emails to everyone who bought the Premium Bundle over the next 24 hours regarding a replacement.

Meh I didn't want to play on the WiiU today anyway... right...?

Christ who designed the wireless in this thing?!!? I've had massive issues with wireless in my house and to be able to use TKIP id need to switch the wireless mode on my superhub to 54Mbps.... This lowers the wireless range in my house!! (and will make it slower for N Devices)

NETGEAR!!! A lot of netgear's gateway consumer solutions, combined modem and router, have troubles. My netgear gateway has trouble with the ethernet ports, 2 out of 4 can only connect using 10MB full duplex....
If anyone is planning to get a new router, do not get a combined modem+router one, it will just cost you more in the end.

You should be using AES anyways, iirc TKIP is now banned for new wifi devices, just like wep.

Got mine all set-up with the controller charging. Can't connect to the internet, just like everyone else. Will give it another go later on after I've had a good go on Mario.

Finally back after my little trip into town to pick up some more games and i have to say just how impressed i was with Game. Not only did they stock all Wii U games, well when i say all they had about 10 of the 26 that are available but what really blew me away was they had Black Ops 2 in stock at the bargain price of ?55

I mean Jesus Christ how does this shop survive lol, every other retailer in Portsmouth, Argos, HMV and even Currys were all selling it for ?45. When the helpful shop assistance asked if i needed any help i just had to ask why they are selling this at ?10 more than everywhere else. The response was "well we are running promotion on other Wii U games" but every game on Wii was still more bloody expensive than other shops. Does anyone know if other Game stores are selling for this or is just the clowns in the 2 Portsmouth stores?

Seriously theres going to be some kids with sad faces, and father going to be getting blamed come Christmas day, if the majority of you tech savvy geeks are struggling to get this online, then mr & mrs johnny normal have no chance, its absolutely shocking, they need to get some discs printed pronto.

Trouble is, even when you do get it sorted, wifi is still flaky. The Lovefilm app point blankly refuses to believe there's an internet connection.

Oh and the YouTube app is awful, doesn't seem to be a way to sort the results. Still, works far better in the browser.

True. No problems earlier and then an hour trying to get it access the router then Internet . Then out of nowhere suddenly works. Sara Sara plaza still doesn't have any new miis or icons though
