Does anyone know if its possible to transfer NTSC USA Virtual console download titles to a PAL Wii U? the standard Wii is modded.

I'm waiting to find out about this to. You probably won't be able to but the risk is if you can't then there is no way of transfering the stuff back to the original Wii.

You won't be able to, the US games are totally different SKUs to the pal versions and the US ones probably won't be on the EU sofas

I use limited/standard range RGB from my PS3 to my TX-P50ST50 Panny plasma. Full range crushes and the TV auto detects content type correctly.

I think TV 's come out of the factory with primarily 16-235 in mind, regardless of calibration. With every TV i've had in the past 5 years or so, i've had to either use standard/limited range, or physically add to the TV's brightness(sorry lyris greyscale) to compensate for the full range RGB use.....which is NOT a good thing.

In other words 16-235 is absolutely fine.

What gets me is that the 360 in full range mode is so much darker than the ps3 in full range? And whats with the pointless intermediate mode too? Cba to google maybe someone can fill me in?

PS3 seems to have proper levels....not fanboyism here just a general observation.

I was in ToyRUs yesterday. I saw small Wii-U banner thing. No sign of any Wii-U boxes or anything. Right next to the Wii-U banner was a demo pod. For a fraction of a second I actually thought "looks just like a Wii" before realising it was a Wii.

Nintendo have messed this up properly.

Same walking around Newcastle on Saturday you wouldn't know a new system was out the only thing for it I saw was a couple of boxes in the normal wii section and a rogue premium system behind the counter in game for sale but it was obscured behind some other tat, was for sale when I asked, didn't buy it though.

Have to agree, the only time I have got even slightly excited is reading this thread.

Went to buy a console yesterday and just couldn't do it.

Have been wanting a couple of the Soul Calibur, Soul Edition, arcadesticks for a while (the ones with the Sega button layout) and I still haven't picked up Street Fighter IV Arcade, or Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 or the latest Blazblue, plus wanted Gundemonium Collection and Soldner X on PSN, and know I will get far more out of that lot for half the price than I would a Wii U, so grabbed them instead.

If there had been loads of promotional stuff about I would have fallen for it big time, but there simply wasn't any. You would think walking round the west end you would see stuff everywhere, but nothing!
The fact I went out with ?400 in my pocket to buy one and walked away without doing so says a lot about Nintendos launch. Very poor show.

Should add, as soon as there is some more games I will be in there, but need more than just NSMB and Tank Tank Tank, Zombi U looks like it may bore me, but will play it this week at a mates and decide, if I like that a lot then I will probably buckle and buy one.

well you are in for a long wait, there is nothing before march (at least) that warrants a purchase so ?300 for Zombie U is just not going to happen for me or many others. And, Tank Tank Tank just got panned here with 3/10 review score http://www.gametrailers.com/reviews/...--tank--review

Surely they will release a game in Jan and Feb, i thought Rayman Legends was in Feb, and hopefully they have a few downloadable titles up there sleeve, but Toki Tori 2 is out on the 20th Dec so there are a few bits coming
