A suggestion that Smash Bros is being prepped for release next Spring close to Mario Kart 8. Would be good and a handy double whammy boost for sales but I'm not holding my breath
As long as they keep to the recent trend of one game a month I'll be happy. MK8 and Smash within weeks of one another is a bit overkill.

When the majority of WiiU owners are nintendo faithful/hardcore, i doubt that.

With this in mind, and at ?5.49 for a 20+ year old game...they should bloody well pull their finger out.

The patch would be ridiculously simple.

There's no reason why it couldn't be the NTSC-U version for all non-Japanese speaking regions. Many of the people buying this will be Nintendo fans, they should get the best possible version.

Really it ought to be another 30p game as a 'thank you' to Wii U owners. We're propping it up atm. Most kids this Xmas will want a PS4 or XB1 far more, and I've seen quite a few systems on Ebay where the listing said it was being sold as the kids wanted one of the new systems for Xmas.

And another thing...what's the deal with charging 30p? They should have just made those games free, lol.

This is why I buy everything in Region 1 format. When things come down to backwards compatibility it's a slippery slope.

To be fair you live abroad so there wouldn't be much benefit to buying PAL. I have no interest in the VC myself but it seems a shame for those who like building these 'digital collections'. It's sort of hilarious that Nintendo are still forcing people to have the same region restrictions as when the games were distributed via cartridge in the early 90s, despite the fact that they're now merely tiny files transmitted online.

Shigeru Miyamoto hates all of us and we should probably just get over it. He also doesn't give a sh*t whether you want stuff rereleased or not:

Even before coming here everything was R1 if there was a chance that backwards compatibility would surface. It's the sensible thing to do. Ironically I'm stuck with a 'PAL' 3DS and have to import games from back home.

Is there a list of which Wii U VC games are PAL and which are NTSC-U out there anywhere?

Ditch that UK 3DS come to the dark side.

Every thing is NTSC U except for Super Metroid, Balloon Fight and Zelda: Lttp (from thursday).

Wouldn't this Nintendo faithful/hardcore already have the US SNES game then?
                      Kept you waiting, huh?

                            Totally different game library though.

Quickshot Supervision is a totally different game library though.

Well duh, totally different system LOL

SNES vs SFC there are tons of games on the VC that haven't made it to the western one.
