-The Gloss is disgusting, keep it all mat.
-The horizontal feet look cheap but I prefer them to the awkward stand on the original to be honest.
-The die shrink had already happened so no surprises there.
    -Still great cooling.
    -1tb is obviously better.

No surprises really and pointless if you already have one.

PS love their glossy bits. The PS2 slim had a mix of matte and gloss. Pretty sure PS3 slim and PS4 went with it too. I mean, who da hell do they think they are, eh?

Spider-Man 2 incl was £431.39. Even so MW3 bundled for £399 will probably sell quite well this Christmas. That's what I paid back in August without a bundled game.

Great price but strange it's the OG model everywhere when the new slim model is due out any minute (and is part of the same deal with MW3 in the US).

Personally prefer Miles in the games anyway, the way Insomniac have portrayed him he just has more personality and that extra something that makes him more interesting, sorry Pete.

Sony have confirmed they've delayed 50% of their planned live service GAAS games

But what about the other 50%. They will release all six of them between 29 September 2024 and 27 September 2025

Ordered the Pulse Elite headset this morning. Doesn’t ship until February though! But the prospect of a headset with planar magnetic drivers for £129 is just too tempting. The B&W headphones I use with the PSVR2 don’t sit properly and it doesn’t have enough oomph to drive those headphones properly either. Hoping the Elite will be a big improvement on this situation for me.

No surprise there... I am actually more surprised 50% of them are still planned.

The problem sony has is you cant launch 6 games as service titles and expect them to all retain active player bases and all be a success, their competing with themselves launching 6 titles in such a small window

For a GAAS to work you need an active almost captive audience locked into your eco system. For years Ive read about Destiny killers which where going to take that playerbase and all of them failed despite all Destinys problems.

The only games Ive seen that are able to keep up with the player-base is warzone and Genshin impact, and these games are for a massively different audience's with the later the amount of updates in this game is staggering and almost overwhelming, it requires a massive team and a massive investment to get right. I can see why Sony are going for this as if you get it right your looking at billions in revenue per year.

If you get 1 GAAS success out of 12 - considering, how may companies have more than 1 success story GAAS title? - How much does it have to make to offset the losses of the other 11?

Exactly. Gass games are crap against the wall and see what sticks. But is 6 lots from the same company really going to workout? Unless it was like 1 every 6 months. Even then everything is up in the air until 1 or those titles catches on.
