I have a sub setup for that in iTunes, but you can download it manually as well. The 1Up Show is also available in iTunes.

I use my mobile for the radio, not paying 35 quid for a damn radio attachment from Apple

Wierd that you can't buy white ones, only black and silver.

Are apple moving away from white white white and moving to black black black?
Their previous attraction to white has changed to silver, see the new shuffle, the iPod classic, the Mac Pro, the iMac and iPod Nanos.

The FM radio is already built in to the iPod but you need the overpriced accessory to use it. Probably acts as the aerial as well I'd imagine.

Got my black iPod classic now, but have a small query.

Downloaded stuff like the ign VIDEO podcast and the Ricky Gervais video podcasts, but they don't show as video. Only audio, I can't work out why though. They play differently to normal audio stuff, there's a little video square but it doesn't do anything, just shows a title picture.

I know that it plays videos cos it's played a QT file I had on my pc, what am I missing?

Do I have to "Convert selected file for iPod" and if so, I don't understand why since they are downloaded from iTunes?

Have you tried playing those actual podcasts in QT on your PC? Do they appear as video? Or even previewing them via iTunes - does that give a video?

Yeah it does work via iTunes if I play them from within it...just not on the iPod, just plays audio with that one title picture.

On the iPod it shows up in the audio section, not the video one.

EDIT: Now I've converted them within iTunes it shows up in the movies section on iTunes where it didn't before. Perhaps they just aren't iPod compatible, remember they are free, not purchased.

It took about 10 mins for 9 minute file, how long is this 200MB IGN one gonna take

EDIT 2: Now tested that file on the iPod, worked fine, looked superb.

Must be to do with the encoding...

From within iTunes access your iPod and try 'syncing' video/podcasts. I had some trouble with putting stuff on an ipod and viewing it, but this worked.

I'm not sure what you mean Nige, I sync it every time I connect it

Do you have it on Manual or Automatic? Manual ftw!
Anyways, attach ipod. Under devices in the iTunes side bar you'll see your iPod. Select it, then in the main window click the podcast Tab and sync from there. Should do it.

Pretty sure as well that when you come to play it, select video. I know if a music video is selected when playing songs a still image is displayed.

Yeah, make sure you have podcasts set to sync. Took me ages to work out why I had to go through the playlists to find my podcasts after I rebuilt my laptop. >_<

Well I've "converted to iPod" and they all work now, but it strikes me as odd.

Where exactly is this option? I checked and everything is set to sync...(apart from the unchecked stuff I don't want on there).

Whether it's all set to sync isn't important, it's the pressing of the 'apply' button whilst on the podcast tab that is.
Jebus, link me one of these podcasts and I'll see if it needs to be converted.
