I got the 360 from a local Game store in a two game bundle for ?330, I chose PDZ LE and CoD2, it was supposed to be selected titles, but they said to choose whatever I wanted. I then bought a Wired Controller and Play & Charge Kit from Game the next day using ?10 worth of Reward points against the purchase.

My current home theatre setup (Sony) has served me without fault for several years and I was trying to hold out on the upgrade until I paid my credit card off, so instead I've added to that debt delaying it by a month or two.
That's what I like to hear sir!

Nothing, was just thinking that its too much to waste on the MS Points. Not really a lot of good stuff you can buy with it is there?

Oh I see, but I haven't bought any Microsoft Points yet.

It's bloody stunning and seeing other peoples HDTV's etc running really makes you feel glad you paid a little bit extra for a lot more quality! If you want any help with the best settings etc for the setup just let me know, as being correctly tuned with that TV can make a huge difference in picture quality!

So the DVD and 360 look good on it?

                      What about Sky/Freeview?

A lot of people here own the L.G. 26LX2R . i have ordered one for myself and am still awaiting delivery *sigh.

It's similar to the Samsung but im under the impression that the LG can hand SD stuff over RGB a little better. It's fully hi def ready. It has no VGA input but it does have a DVI input and VGA can be achieved via an adaptor.

It comes with the adaptor for VGA in the box. The adaptors that a lot of us have been buying are ones that allow you to connect VGA and DVI to the DVI port at the same time.

Is there such a thing as a DVI - HDMI adaptor available anywhere. I bought a 27" Toshiba yesterday, which is jolly good indeed. I have connected my PC to it using VGA, but since the PC has a DVI output on the video card I would rather use that.

Naturally the Tosh doesn't have a DVI in, only HDMI.

You can buy DVI to HDMI cables.
That's how I connect my computer to my LG.
