Originally posted by don_caballeroToday i got a call from Empire Direct. When i first started speaking to the woman on the other end i was thinking " Thank God i've been waiting 25 days and now they're phone to arrange a delivery date!" but noshe said that they are totally out of stock of the LGs and i would have to wait another 2 WEEKS!! . I'm really getting pissed off now. I went with ED cuz i order a TV with them in the past and it came super quick. I see they got the Samsungs in stock and was tempted to switch but the LG is the one i want.
I there much difference between the two? I'm going with the LG for it's faster response time, better contrast ratio and i've read here that it handles SD RGB signals a bit better.

Someone is selling a PS2 component cable in the trading forum here. Don't know if its Official though. Sony sell the Official one in their PS2 shop for ?18 delivered.
The Cube component is a bitch to get hold of. Playasia and LikSang have been out of stock for ages, so you might want to keep an eye on the trading forums or if your desperate eBay has them occasionaly, but for around ?40

i love the look of the aqous screens and at less than ?700 it seems ace. but all i've read about is samsung and lg on this thread so far!!
The LG is also a very good set, great if you're going to be using the screen a lot with your PC. The Samsung is popular because it's probably the cheapest known brand HD LCD. It was recently on offer, and you could pick up the 26" for like ?450 or something, which is a crazy price. Dunno if the offer still exists.
Come to think of it now, I love the styling of this telly too. I didn't buy it for the looks, but as I've seen it more and more, it's grown on me. You need anymore help, post here or pm me. The more time I spend with this telly, the more I like it. About the only flaw I can think of is that the VGA to PC connection isn't as great as it could be. The picture is just good, not groundbreaking like I'd hoped.
