Nice res, and also doubles up as a second HDTV. HD-Ready certified.

    Anyone used this?
no but i own the previous smaller 17 inch version(exact same style, x-black etc) and its really a brilliant little tv monitor.

      I thought an idea.

Could I use a DVD recorder to record football from Sky+ then use my Denon 1920 DVD player to play football in 720P to get better picture. (Just an idea)

Nothing other than it's a 1080i screen, and only 50Hz at that. Reviews said it had severe geometry issues.

After years I've finally got my hands on a 14" Sony Trinitron Flatscreen CRT. (?35 from Smack Gen, they were ?235 when they first came out)

Well chuffed. Works a treat for the Neo + Saturn. Can't wait to try Perfect Dark" in Ruh Guh Buh.

In my ever-lasting search for a HDCP-capable screen to replace my VGA LCD, I came across this baby.

Welcome to Samsung IN. Discover a wide range of home electronics with cutting-edge technology including TVs, smartphones, tablets, home appliances & more!

              24". 1920x1080 resolution. DVI w/ HDCP, VGA, S-Video and Component. ~?750. OMG!

This is primary a PC monitor of course, but it will serve the purpose of everything except Scart. I can buy this next week if I want.
Is there any disadvantage to using a screen like this for all-purpose, bar the lack of a tuner?

Just to say, the 20" Sony has now been added to the Sony UK site, and it looks like it does have component after all; I'd recommend going for it personally.

Can I have the link for the Sony TV as I would like a 20" component input (Non HDTV) CRT if there is one suitable and not too expensive.

It's a ?600 LCD, but is better than a CRT in my opinion. (well, the 17" is and I'm sure the 20" will be better)

Save up another hundred quid and get something by a better manufacturer, you won't regret it it the long run.

Better stuff which isn't expensive........ I dont really care for brand name or the HD logo. As long as it can show 720p, is reliable and can host ma X360 I dont really care.
