I played CoD4 on an SDTV CRT a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly good. The detail in the distance was lost but closer battles were not affected playability-wise.

i do, i have a rattly old CRT which works just fine - although it's on it's way out now - sometimes the left audio channel cuts out only when i'm playing games though and oddly enough, only on my 360 (and PS2 previous to that), so i'm thinking there's something up with the connection i use.

i've never been bothered with having the latest audio/visual kit - as long as i have something to play the games on. i'll happily use something until it's run into the ground then replace it. i still have the VCR i got about 15 years ago.

Your wish is my command. Please pay special attention to the Bush DVD player and (out of shot, sadly) Digibox, too. Total cost of setup = approx £150. But you'll also notice that the surroundings are not a dingy rented bedsit bankrolled by Ma and Pa.

Christmas decorations should be down by now. Nice crib. Mine was made of cardboard this year

That photo is actually from a few weeks ago - rest easy, my living room is now de-Christmassified.

The Phantom Hourglass set are from Play-asia. The Wind Waker were from eBay and the Mario one's I picked up in Game in store at the weekend. Good haul Now I just need the Twilight Princess ones.

considering the shipping costs from ebay , i think where you got yours from would be better value!
