Yeah, I'd be up for a BCNM40 run. The only one I've done so far tho is the worm's turn one, and for some reason that seems to have been upped in terms of difficulty.

Nah, the problem is that the worms can now use their suck attack regardless of how far away from them you are, once you engage them there isn't a safe spot anymore, they need to be constantly sleptComment

I?m in kind of a similar situation to Darwock at the moment in trying to get a certain piece of equip that only drops from BCNM.
I?ve managed to farm up to (or close to, depending on if the next one listed goes at a higher price) the gil I need for my Sairen katana. However, I don?t think there are that many in circulation on the server as it is a drop from a BCNM60 that few people attempt from what I can gather. Judging from the price history 3 went in June and 5 in May but from what I can gather at least some of those have been a previous buyer selling it on.
Last one was sold on 27th June and another hasn?t been listed since. I?ve done my translated shouts in Jeuno
{Sairen} {katana} {Do you have it?} {sell?}
No response.
I?ve even tried contacting some of the previous buyers to see if they are willing to sell but no joy.
Guess the farming continues until one gets listed. Get up to 4m and I can buy one of the 2 pieces of equip I?d need at 64 anyway and stil have gil leftover for a Sairen should it appear so that is the best plan of action I reckon.Comment

Somethings clearly up. Search function has been broken twice today now as is the AH. I was on this morning and logged out and couldn't get back in for about 15 minutes. Got back on eventually and things are still messed up.
Moot logged off again and now can't get back online so 'm not logging at all now, even tho I have nothing to do in game.Comment

Has anyone else watched the FFXI live stream from the playonline website recently? The camera has started showing the game from the POV of what I'm guessing to be random players and this is a problem as its showing chat bars. Talk about intrusion of privacy

I can't watch it (the stream stopped working for me many months ago, won't transfer fast enough to show anything), but I bet it's just older video footage of the people somehow related to SE (e.g. that character called Destiny, etc). I've seen videos taken from the stream elsewhere in the past, where they participate in ballista/dynamis runs etc. They wouldn't show that information from random people I'm sure.Comment
