Which Konami game is that? I'm not familiar with the boxes for the stuff released late in the MDs life.

It's contra, and is a brilliant game.

I was going to guess that but I didn't want to be wrong... I've hardly played that version to be honest. Konami were releasing great stuff throughout that period. I miss those days even more now it seems that Japanese developers are following the West more and even outsourcing their stuff.

My Brother has kindly given me a SNES, N64 and Resident Evil 4 branded GameCube.

The SNES & N64 have a few games with them but are all unboxed but the Resi Cube is minty fresh and pretty much unplayed.

Sad to say, these are are unmodded sets...that require AR....... I am still looking for the panasonic service DISC to make it region free. Willing to pay. =)

Well, not that pricey than some others on the system. Got it for 80 Euros.
The Japanese version is quite popular since it is easier than the US/PAL versions.

Just scored Namco Museum volumes 1 and 5 for the PS1 from GameStation today for 49p a pop! Had a lot of fun on the first one tonight.

After months of searching eBay and local classified ads, I stumbled across this beauty on Freecycle (the TV not the console):



Never owned a Trinitron before and the picture quality is amazing. Don't think there's any better option if you're talking RGB SCART consoles.









A question for Trinitron experts: how do you access the service menu? There's loads of overscan on the left-hand side, and I'd like to adjust that if possible...

For Trinitrons it's usually the following button sequence on the remote:

Standby
i+
5
Volume up
Exit Teletext

This might help too.
