New poster revealed by the artist who did the posters for the Special Editions and prequels. Han looks ropey

Han is played by Jeremy Irons in this one.

Looking at those new images, I'm not quite sure how any Star Wars fan couldn't be at least a little hyped for this.

Bitter after taste of prequel disappointment still lingering from more than a decade ago?

Yep, still have that intact Kryss, yet remain hopeful for this effort.

Yeah I have to admit I am looking forward to it. Disney's efforts with the Marvel universe have helped the enthusiasm.
Still a little disappointed in the original and prequel trilogies not coming out in 3D though. The Battle of Hoth and the end battle of Return of the Jedi would have been awesome.

Count me in for being super excited for this. Disney know this has to be an amazing experience after Lucas last efforts, so will go all out to make it he best it can be. I hope

I don't really go to the cinema these days but I'll be trying to see it opening night.

Prequel damage plus lack of faith in Abrams plus realisation that the things I have liked of this so far have been purely nostalgia-based plus over saturation of Star Wars past, present and now future. Put it this way - a new Fast and Furious movie is a more rare and precious thing.

I'll see it, no doubt. But I'm not hyped. I was way more hyped for Mad Max this year.

Pretty much this. I loved watching the first 3 when they were re-released but the level of star wars crap I was exposed to during that period was nuts. In fact, it was that over the top that even my 12 year old self got bored and lost interest for Episode I.

Can anyone recommend the best cinema in the Birmingham/West Midlands area?

We were planning to go to the IMAX at Millennium Point but I've just found out it closed in January!!

                            OK.

Cineworld IMAX on Broad St. Massive screen.

Odeon iSense at Broadway Plaza. Massive screen.

The Electric. Oldest independent cinema in the UK. Small screen but leather sofas and waiter service.

Everyman Cinema in the Mailbox. Smallish screen but really plush and fancy. There are cushions on the sofa!

So it depends what you're looking for, my friend. If you wanted IMAX, then maybe Cineworld is for you?

If its 3D then use Cineworld as its the actual IMAX 3D with the better glasses. Odeon is those crappy realD ones. If its 2D then Odeon as the screen and sound are better, better seating and cheaper!

I've always thought those cinemas with waiter service sound awful. Last thing I want in the cinema is people walking around and the clink of cutlery. I'm a stickler for a silent room when movie watching though, haha.
