****ing hell, the One Piece manga is getting tense

Well it helps that it's always been written and illustrated by a very creative and hard-working guy. I tell you, when I watched Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End I totally expected Luffy and his crew to pop up but we know Hollywood. They wouldn't even contemplate imaginative characters such as Kizaru, Trafalgar Law, Doflamingo and Ace among others. I think I just thoroughly enjoy the romantic idea of pirates a hell of a lot.

Oda's still popular in Japan so he'll keep on going as long as they allow him (bring the crew back together Oda!)

Anyone seen Moyashimon? im rather enjoying it, only 11 episodes too so not too heavy viewing.

Yeah, it's fantastic. I just loved the whole vibe of it. I'm still waiting for them to release the manga in English and also keeping my fingers crossed for more of it to be animated.

Hasn't been scanlated because of the huge reams of text containing medical and scientific terms. Not an easy task.

Incidentally, anyone checked out the new Azumanga strips? They're good but the translations make me realise what a good job ADV did with the series.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I think the first volume is down for a September release although things have been quiet since the announcement of the license so I might have pulled that date out of thin air.

New season Haruhi sucks. I know this is how its suppose to be but cmon, repeating the same episode with minor changes multiple times is a bloody joke, it could easily be done in the one. Huge waste of time.

I just really admire the fact that they must have known how people would react to it but they did it anyway. Not only that, they actually animated each ep and didn't recycle any footage.

Still it is a annoying, im not even watching them, just skipping to the see what the new swining costumes are and then to the end of the ep, also seen some threads about 2chan Haurhi fans going insane... still i expect death threats if they keep this up till ep8.

on the bright side

Bakemonogatari ep3 - still good, still has great chemistry between Hitagi and Araragi, and him trying to help out the middle school was total class.

i was just coming to post about haruhi 6.
i was sure they'd sort it out this one
it is annoying, but i do also think its amazing that they've stuck with it, and been brave enough to do it so many times. its a brilliant 'experiment' in a way.

How many more new episodes is there going to be?
surely its going to balls up their dvd sales massively though?

It's called endless eight so it'll probably be 8 eps. It will absolutely kill DVD sales so I think they'll have a trick up their sleeve for that, possibly include bonus eps or shorts.

I think they were always going to do something like this, after all, remember the first ep of the first season and the haphazard (but brilliantly thought out) ordering

There's going to be another series after this. This is filler (was originally only going to be 2 eps long). There's some foreshadowing to The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya in both the teaser images and eps squeezed in during the repeat of the first series.

Trailer for the halo anime, I had no interest before but that doesnt look half bad, looks at least a bit better than some of the **** thats been released recently.
