I think all it would take would be for to Sunrise to announce "Y'know, Geass was a big pile of balls. Lets skip the 3rd season and go back to working on Banner of the Stars 4" and I would die a happy, happy man.
Edit: Also, for anyone that didn't watch it, I highly recommend watching The Tatami Galaxy. It's by the same guy behing Kemonozume and Kaiba and its great.

I thought Highschool of the Dead was alright, it could seriously could do without the gigantic tits and vag shots in the camera. Spoils it completly. However, I did like them using the 28 days later theme, nice touch even though its the wrong film they are homaging and they are different type of zombie.Last edited by SuperBeatBoy; 06-07-2010, 10:42.

Thanks for the heads-up about High School of the Dead. I'd read the manga until it seemed to dry up and enjoyed it so I thought I'd give the anime a whirl.
I enjoyed it, but agree with Zero9X that there really was a bit too much fan service in it and it's a little chalk and cheese when juxtaposed against each other.
I don't actually think it's John Murphy's version of "In the House - In a Heartbeat", but a right-royal rip-off of it! Do you know that it was also used in Kick Ass and in a Liberal Democrats party political broadcast? I seem to hear it all the time, and it's easy to spot because it's so chuffin' ace!
Woah, waitaminute. Did I say "juxtaposed"?
Sorry!

Anyways watched the first ep of Ookami-san today. Was a rather strange one, as alot of the characters seemed to be straight lifted from other shows with slight appearance changes, Also Kuroko narration was a bit weird too. Still it was rather enjoyable so ill be keeping up with it for now.
Also watched the first ep of the the Sekirei 2nd series, and I'm not sure why as the first series wasnt amazing. Seems to be more of the same.

Fullmetal Alchmist 62/63/64 - really good end to the show unlike the previous edition, great animation every single episode. King Bradley at the end was a pure fighting monster after all damage he kept taking as most 'normal' human of the Homies, every fight he was in was brilliant especially towards the end. The last ep64 is a good send off, gave enough of epilogue to show us what everyone was up to and left it open enough for extras stories as Al and Ed
travel east and west, loved the little picture right at the end of Ed/Winry with kids and May/Al grown up, which i would have loved if it was just them animated for a short 30 seconds while they pose for the pic as the ending instead of just a single picture
. Great stuff.
Kurenai ova - Aaahh what happened to the lovely art! I couldn't recognise Yuuno till she opened her mouth. Anyway the animation was decent enough and the art wasn't bad just not as good as what had gone before, we get 3 short stories featuring the cast with Yayoi getting a much bigger roll than the previous tv season with her now being Muraski's bodyguard. the character interaction remains almost as good as the TV season mainly cos there not much room for everyone in 30mins, still worth watching if you enjoyed the original.

Let's see how many boards I can post this on.
Just finished Tatami Galaxy and feel the need to rave about it. A fantastic little series that fitted it's 11 episode series perfectly and retained Kaiba's quirk of revealing future plot points at the start of the series which only make sense later. The whole series just worked really well together and all the cast was just awesome.
If you're after something quality from last season that's a little bit different, I definitely recommend it.

Watched Sky Crawlers this evening and.... well... I can't decide if I actually liked it or not.
It's very pretty with some great mechanical design, but the plot doesn't seem to actually go anywhere does it? I feel like I need to watch it again to properly understand what was going on, but at the same time I don't think I can sit through all those aspect montages again...

Speaking of anime on bluray, have you watched Paprika? I loved it, thought it was excellent.
