Just saw Full Metal Alchemist 51. Go watch it now.
Although it doesn't match ep. 50 in terms of intensity, it's still excellent, and wraps up the story quite well while leaving a few strands loose and creating a <i>huge</i> opening for the movie.
However, despite what I had heard, it uses a standard 26-minute format. As a result, everything feels rushed, which is too bad. It could have used 26 additional minutes IMO.

So if the movie comes out in 1 year, well... Gosh. It's gonna be a hell of a long wait.

saw ep 51 yesterday and i'm wondering if anyone else thinks they ripped off 'The Amber Spyglass' at the very end.

But yeah overall a satisfying end to a great series, now you just gotta wonder if the proposed season 2 is ever gonna happen and if so what are they going to do with it.

I got the TKM-fansubs version. Good encode, high-quality subtitles. Won't help you much though, it's in French

However IIRC they did it in collaboration with Sonchou & Shinsen-Subs (for some reason that hasn't been revealed). Meaning that the S&SS version should be out by now if that's what you're looking for.

I'm just waiting for the entire season torrent of FMA to come out. Then I can leave my computer on for three months as it downloads it. Wish I'd never seen some of the eps now. It's too good, and I need my fix.

Naruto isn't doing it for me at the moment, but Samurai Champloo shows signs of improvement. I just hope it can keep it up.

Sonchous-shinsen-sucks is the version that I got, the group is made up of loads of people from other groups and is pretty good.

ahh, i thought it was some kind of joke sub, so i stayed clear of it.

Got My HIME and Utakata 1st eps of the go, i don't think i gonna pick up many of the new dating>game to anime series this season.

What's everyone going to be following this new season?

No idea, to be honest... I've been watching the 10 first episodes of Kurau - Phantom Memory, and so far it's, well... Average. I've seen worse, but I've seen much better too. The chara design is average (although Kurau has some strong Kusanagi vibes; and Dag seems very inspired by Drake from RoD and, whatshisname... you know, the human male lead in Wolf's Rain), the animation is average-to-good, the soundtrack bad-to-average (I hate the OP)... Average series so far. However the plot seems to be starting to move, so it may get better. I reserve my final judgement for later.

I'm also following Kenran Butoh Sai (pirates and mecha, you can't go wrong with that), and of course Naruto.

So far, I haven't noticed a particular series that might r0xx0r my b0xx0rZ this season. Got any recommendations (given that my current all-star top 5 -- not counting OAVs -- is Cowboy Bebop, Read or Die, FMA, Trigun, Noir)?



Oh, I nearly forgot. The last episode of Macross Zero is due on October 22nd in Japan. I can't wait for it.

If you've not got much to watch catch the 1st episode of MyHIME, top 1st episode to a new series, its like original Gatekeepers without the "OPEN THE GATTTTEEEE" and 60's cheese/alien invasion stuff, good animation through out and likable characters so far.

The only stuff from last season you should get is Ai****ru Ze baby and Maria-sama Season1 and whatever of season 2 been currently subbed, but im guessing comedy/drama/romace ain't your thing , so i would say go for...

Godannar S1 and S2, big robots fighting big monsters with cheesey Attack names in a decent story, and every girl has big bouncing boobs.

Tenjou Tenge/Air master - school/street fighting with a bit unfunny comedy and lots of fan service(mainly air masters comedy, its quite lame), both have decent stories to string the fights together but so far Air Master as the bigger, better fights and Kaori Sakiyama and is a completely subbed series, TT still going but unless it passes past 26eps or gets 2nd season, its going to annoy me alot cos more than half the episodes have been about the past.

Bleach ep1 = ace, if you shonen jump style naruto/one piece shows then this is must, almost YYH with samurai , and death god's rock!, good opening to.
