Well each fighter now has 3 specials, except those with 2 forms, like Sasuke's cursed seal status and Naruto's Kyuubi mode, then they only have 2 specials to make it "balanced".

I only want it because of Itachi, his Mangekyou Sharingan Tsukiyomi is going to be so sexy. I wonder if they'll include Amaretsu also? As for other characters, I'd like to see Kabuto in there but the JP mags show everyone BUT him. I'm talking about useless ninjas such as Iruka and even Mizuki!

If you're more into the manga then I guess the PS2's Narutimate Hero 2 would be more for you. Have you seen the animation? stunning. The music when Itachi's sharingan takes effect is sooo awesome. Too bad it'll spoil a ****load for me

Some random people at shoryuken were mentioning that Kabuto might be the voice announcer in GNT3, but take that as you will.

I'll probably pick this up later, when i'm back from my holiday. probably be a few decent reviews by then as well.

Gundam Seed Destiny episode 6 is out, and boy, it does deliver. I expected Athrun to be quite powerful, but wow! He's piloting an off-the-shelf Zaku and sends Chaos straight back to the scrapyard with frightening ease! He, Yzak and Dearka are *dangerous*, I tell you. I couldn't believe how Sting, Auel and Stellar got their asses kicked like there was no tomorrow! Had to watch the episode twice to make sure Anyway, seems like next episode too is going to be very interesting -- they left us on a huge double cliffhanger again! That's official, I like that series. Gonna have to get hold of the Gundam Seed DVDs.

Oh, and Genshiken 5 is out too, I'l downloading it ATM.

Yeah strange to see every Gundam's take damage like that so easily, in the 1st season it would be a major fight where that happen, but im like how Authrn, Deakka and Yzk the Veterans owned them new druggie pilots with team work in normal Zaku(with modded weapons), i was half expecting Kai to so up and save the day.

The Original Seed is just as good as you get to watch Kai and Authran grow into top pilots, also u get FREY, sexy mad whore with and axe to grind and love to give!

Genshiken 5's a bit of an interesting one this week, different to what we've been offered before. Nothing really otaku-ish about the episode, but I am wholeheartedly convinced the show is definitely Saki's now. I find myself enjoying her passive exploits in the club far more than Sasahara's self discovery and indulgeance in his past time. Oh, and its been revealed that the series is only 12 episodes so we're almost at the half way mark already!

Tobal: I don't find it strange at all. I find it realistic (well, plausible, given that we're talking about giant robots here ). I actually hate it when the "bad guys", who are supposed to be trained, professional military, can't seem to land even *one* damn shot. The Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy closed down for a reason.
Besides, Yzak's mobile suit is definitely not a regular Zaku -- note the shoulder-mounted rotary guns. According to the Wikipedia entry for GS Destiny, he uses a ZGMF-1001 Zaku Phantom. Athrun and Dearka are using off-the-shelf Zaku Warriors (ZGMF-1000), and so does Lunamaria, although she seems to have a non-standard gun -- and a nifty-looking custom paint job.

Taka: Yeah, I completely agree with you. I found the first episode of Genshiken a bit lame (I mean, all that fuss about porn, wtf?), but as soon as Saki kicked into high gear, I started laughing and couldn't stop (the "neko ears" bit in episode 5 was just downright hilarious -- and you have to admit Madarame makes a good "Kenny" character ). Let's start taking bets: in episode 8, she'll be cosplaying as that helmet-wearing blonde girl from Kujian.

I just watched episode 7 raw (practice along with various learn Japanese books I have) and they really are exploring the various regions of the fandom. Two new potential members join the Genshiken and prove to be rather unwelcome in that they don't fit in with the rest of the club. Even amongst geeks and nerds there's a divide. Certainly a very entertaining episode since it is yet again very different to the norm.

I also managed to finish Ai****eruze Baby (yeah, I know its been said here before) this evening after having it on my hard disk for months. A cracking series which despite it's fluffy exterior, deals with some quite serious issues. Really glad I've been able to see it, need to find some of the manga now to further the story a bit more...

Episode 5 was stupidly funny, its was Saki from start to finish

her super wide smile about the closing of the club to the blackmailing and finally the end bit end she realized the chairman 'could have' evidence of what Saki gets upto by herself or with her boyfriend when the others are out the room

One Piece ep 119, wow they really set the standard for one piece fights with the Zoro vs Mr1 fight, it looks so much better than the manga version specially moments like Zoro taking some nasty, nasty damage and him realizing his teachers teachings(music and sound effect = ). I hope luffy's final 2 fights vs Crocdialle are done this good.

On a slightly related topic, hooked as I am to Gundam Seed Destiny, I bought the 3 first Gundam Seed DVDs today (R1 -- in the process, I removed my Powerbook's DVD drive's region lock; I'm still amazed I hadn't find the time to do it in almost 2 years), to see how it all began (and who this Kira fellow whose return in GSD episode 7 seems to be highly anticipated is).

I've just finished watching the first disc, and I have to admit, it kicks a large quantity of ass. Seems to have a slightly higher budget than Destiny, too (although the last few episodes of Destiny seem to indicate it's got some nice animation budget -- it's weird that it didn't show in episode 1). Two thumbs up.

Gotta refrain from watching the 2 other discs right now, as I'd like to be up before noon tomorrow. ^^

(who said that fansubs made people not buy DVDs?)

I particularly enjoyed the imagery of the Earth being screwed over by Junius 7 playing along to Lacus' song. Beautiful stuff.

Man, i hate lacus so much. Far to fruity and peaceful, no fire in her soul at all, she's turned kira into a wuss. Anyway top episode, plenty of explosions and i reckon at some point that Pink Zaku pilot gonna get a piece of athran at some point which is fine by me .

Any else what the Kgne side story stuff about Akane, i found it quite funny and light hearted fan service compared to whimpy crap from the main lead guy from proper series(which i did enjoy), i know alot of the fans hated this show for it lack of seriousness, but there missing the point.
