You have a good chance actually, on GMTV this morning they had a lady who managed to get 4,000 back, apparently the banks simply dont want to take it to court because it never has gone to court. and it is actually illegal as they are only allowed to charge a fine relevant to the cost.. or something like that. these are gmtv's words not mine.. but if you look on their website they have a link to the money blokes site who was on the show, he was saying how to get your coin back etc etc.

Anyone remember this from early this year? Man killed 4 cyclists when he skidded into them going to fast in poor conditions.

I heard on the news last night that the driver has finally received his sentence, 6 points and ?180 fine. he had 3 defective tyres. Surely that's not right

Commission? Working for the caaahncil? You must be joking. They aren't even allowed to have a cigarette during core hours, or eat at their desks any more (a bloke in the wife's office copped for a bollocking because he was eating a Fab ice lolly in the office).

A while ago, our HR dept send round an email saying they'd received an anonymous letter detailing 'serious breaches of company policy by a member of staff'. They asked for the writer of the letter to come forward with more information. Naturally this got people worked up over who had done what... the truth came to light a couple of days later when one of the dept managers (who had received the letter) conducted their own investigation. Someone had been eating toast at their desk. Where do you start with that one...?

Our company has a no eating at your desk policy also, right pain in ass.

If you use computers all day then I'm sure you are entitled (by law) to a 10 minute break every two hours.

Where I worked tried to implement a no eating at your desk policy, but to get round this everyone in the project started taking the full hour for their lunch down in the canteen, no queries were answered and the projects started slipping, they soon let us eat at the desks again lol

On a side issue is there anything more annoying than the dudes in your work who eat seafood cocktails etc at their desks?

I remember the dude who used to sit next to me would eat a big smelly cocktail of the sea every week and I had to leave my desk while he did and eat mints afterwards hoping the smell from my own minty fresh gob would mask the smell of dead marine life
