I went for a lovely walk for 30 minutes - clear blue sky, warm sunshine, birds singing - then a black cloud came out of nowhere for it to piss down.

this is a post all about how, my life got flipped turned upside down, i'd like to take a minute just sit right there and i'll tell you about how i became drunked last night for the first time evar.

honest.

so yeah, last night we went out and i got a wee bit tipsy. i have never felt it neccessary to drink before which is why i never have done, but for some reason last night i thought "hmm, ok let's have a few" so people assembled at my house and we walked into town (it's harrogate, 5 minutes and we're in the centre). we walked to the viper rooms, i approached the door and flashed a cheeky grin to the blokes on the door, they stopped one of our party as apparently he was looking almost a little bit too casual, but because i was exuding such an aura of amazingness we got in anyway. and there it began, for whatever reason i was drinking double jd and cokes for most of the evening after about 4/5 of those we moved on to a rawk bar where i was given some cocktail which was actually too delicious to have contained alcohol (pity it did).

i think after that we scooted to the vodka bar, at this point my equilibrium was a little bit compromised and for whatever reason i insisted on proving to the people i was with it was still accurate, i apologise for that guys. i honestly have no idea how i came across whilst under the influence but i'm guessing i talk **** more. anyway, time at that point ceased to exist and the next time i noticed, the dance floor was empty but the kids at my table were still enjoying themselves, we moved to the bar for a bit and had more **** and i decided to down someone's vodka and coke (or something).

the walk home was interesting. i felt like i was watching my life on a really ****ty lcd tv with masses of smearing, and for whatever reason i remember someone saying "race you to over there" and me attempting to run but failing miserably, my legs just didn't want to go with me, the spirit was willing but the body was like 'dude, no'. the journey to the house appeared to take forever as i was weaving all over the place, i do however recall insisting everyone should hug as we're all ****ing amazing.

eventually we arrived at my house, people had tea, some chats and i retired to the bathroom to remove the evil liquids from my stomach a couple of times. i'm not the most massive fan of throwing up due to a previous having a true fear of it and instilling this fear in me (cheers). so i spent some time in the bathroom with my head down the toilet with my housemate checking on me periodically (thank you sandy!). i have no idea how much time had passed but i was soon roused and told to go to bed, i remember staggering to my room where someone had put the quilt cover on and told me to take my clothes off and get into bed. or else. i insisted i would get around to it when i was good and ready but i was given an ultimatum of "before i get back". so i managed to wriggle out of my clothings and discard them at the end of the bed. the room was kitted out with a bucket (just in case) and 2 tall cups of water. at that point i was beyond all that though and slept until about an hour ago...

i've been out before and had a few drinks where i'd acquire 'the buzz' but nothing more, literally a few drinks and i'd be amused to the point i'd not need anything further. so really my body has **** all reference of alcohol and i introduced the two last night, i think my corpse is too highly strung for alcohol it just didn't know what was going on.

so my first proper experience of booze was par for the course i'd imagine, i'm pretty sure i didn't offend anyone like i thought i would though so it's all good. (if you know otherwise then er, sorry). i'll say it again though, the company last night was pretty ****ing fantastic and i appreciate that.
