starting to look like he's swerving a few fights isnt' it, odd as you still think he'd do well in the UFC in the big match ups, I make Fedor v Lesnar a 50:50 fight, Fedor Carwin 70:30, Fedor Mir 90:10.
don't see anybody else who would trouble him at their current level.
shame he won't come over but as MMA matures with more closed wrestling style promotions we'll see this situation arise again and again, it'll actually be worse than the alphabet belts in boxing where matches often get made in the end.

Quite shocked how "little" Sonnen got paid for the latest UFC event

FFS Sonnen you tit!
Probably one of the best title fight in years has (potentially) been well and truly blemished.

1. Irrespective of who won or lost, it was a great fight (pre substance abuse allegation).
2. Sonnen hardly 'ran out of steam'. Shane Carwin v Lesnar is a good example of a fighter (Carwin) running out of steam (eg. punched himself out). Can't find post fight reports anywhere mentioning Sonnen doing the same.
Agree with you on Silva's win being more impressive if the allegation is true.

Roy Nelson v Shane Carwin is looking likely for Jan 1st.
If Nelson can beat him, Nelson v Lesnar probably. Gulp.
And back to the above chat, imagine if Sonnen had beaten Silva, it'd all be a right old mess.
Is anyone going to the UFC at 02 in ten days time? fight card didn't interest me really enough to splash the cash and there is a 50% chance of getting free tickets from work at the last minute.

Roy Nelson will hopefully get destroyed by Carwin, he may have a chin on him but don't think anybody bangs harder than Carwin, if Nelson can take him down though Carwin showed some suspect ground game against Lesnar, plus suspect conditioning.
Isn't the next big US UFC Lesnar Valasquez, take the good biggun to overpower the good little un in that one.

Well if Nelson employs the same tactics that he did against Dos Santos, eg. standing pretty much toe to toe for the whole fight, Carwin will probably punch his face clean off his skull.
Surely, even if Nelson did win (he would have to use his ground game, as apparently he's quite tasty with his ju-jitsu), he would'nt have a title shot against either Lesnar or Velasquez? Isn't Dos Santos next in line, or perhaps even Mir?
Lesnar v Nelson. Makes me chuckle just thinking about that match up.
UFC 120 does'nt look that good to me tbh. Would like to go to an event at some point in the future, preferably with a stonger card than the one at London. Fancy Akiyama against Bisping too.
Fan Expo @ London in just over a weeks time. If I lived closer it would have been a cert to go, if only to try and get to see Wand, Couture and Fitch.

not watched the whole card yet but had to see how Lesnar v Velasquez panned out, was a big surprise for me.
Lesnar looked very trim and less fleshy than last time out and came out the blocks super pumped, probably too much so, was very impressed how efficiently Velasquez delt with everything thrown at him and just picked Lesnar apart at will in both the stand up and wrestling.
Good to see how well Lesnar took it too, classy.
heavy division is really well set here as can see the title changing hands quite often with the fighters they have.
