Everyone knows if the main clean person goes on holiday you clean up but leave a very slight mess so it isn't suspiciously clean (too clean = trying to hide something).

Why is mouthwash bad?

Most of them, such as Listerine don't actually do anything. Listerine contains alcohol which can lead to mouth cancer, my dentist said to not bother with it and save the alcohol for stuff I actually drink. The only ones that are worth anything are fluoride based such as Fluorigard. Also worth mentioning that some like Cortizone cause staining.

Didn't the mouthwash companies basically *invent* halitosis to get people to buy their products? My dentist has always said that most of them are useless and that you should only be using a proper one (like Corsodyl) if there's gingivitus or some other gum infection that needs a clear out.

I suspect these new toothbrushes that claim you need a tongue scraper are equally pointless.

As somebody that regularly deals with the public, I can assure you that halitosis definitely exists.

Corsodyl is the only mouthwash I've ever heard of being medically recommended- chemotherapy patients have to use it sometimes as their gums can be sensitive.

My mum went on holiday a few days ago, leaving myself, my 17 year old sister and my dad in the house.

Funnily enough, I tend to find that my male friends have much cleaner rooms than my female friends - things EVERYWHERE. I used to think that most people cleaned their room like twice a week, as I do, until I noticed people making comments like "She wants polish for Christmas!" and "You best fix the hoover, of Claire will kill you". Boo hoo.

As for mouthwashes, I somewhat agree... I use mine mostly to kill bacteria and protect my gums, as opposed to freshening my breath...
